DameDarkness -> Piercings? (1/23/2005 9:40:39 AM)

Ok I just got my nipples pierced friday night. OOOO did the left side hurt! My right side didnt hurt so much but of course then again I am more sensitive on my left as it is. Anyways my question is what has been others experience with piercings? I want to know. Because I tell you I have been extremely sensitive since I had them pierced.

They were pierced two days ago and they're sensitive? That really shouldn't be all that much of a shocker. I would be amazed if a fresh pair of nipple piercings *wasn't* extremely sensitive.

If you're asking about long term sensitivity, that's a pretty mixed bag. There seems to be a pretty even mix of people with nipple piercings in regard to sensitivity changes. Some claim an increase, some a decrease, and for many it doesn't really change. Mine were very sensitive before piercing and they didn't change after the fact.

Yes I am asking about long term. Also short term. Basically anything anyone wants to say about piercings. Im curious about their experiences with piercings.

i had my nipples done about six weeks ago, they are just now getting to where we can play lightly with them without any pain. Until recently, any contact would leave them sore and aching the next day. (i had a bad experience with a St Andrew's Cross rubbing against them; i thought they would fall off the next day!)

To answer your question, they are much more sensitive now then they were. i love it! i would do it again in a minute...

I had both mine pierced about a year and a half ago, and still love them. My left healed very quick and has never given me any problem. My right, for some reason, has always remained tender and can stand much less movement than the left. Having them pierced has increased their sensitivity, which is a plus for me since they were not very sensitive before. I love having the rings in rather than barbells, as the rings provide a hanging place for weights, etc...

You can add a stirrup to a barbell for the same functionality, plus I think they look neater [:)]

I have to agree i think the bar bells are neat too but for now I have the rings till my nipples heal a bit more.

i have been told that the piercings should heal 6-8 months before any jewelry changes. Just a word of advice. [;)]
