I was doing a bit of research and noticed there are like 10 slaves to one Mistress. Also, I get TONS of mail from slaves that say there are no good quality Mistress's. What is going on? Are other's more pickier or is there more need for female slaves?
Just would love to hear from others.

or maybe there're now more fakes coming in than ever

and well there're also lots of complaints about subs/slave not being serious all in all even though they promise to be everything you ever wanted in a sub/slave so perhaps it's not 10 to 1 at all..maybe just 2 to 1

Well, I advertise as a Master, and I would doubt a poll would scrape up a percentage point of serious on me, so I could hardly expect a slave to be so.

Those numbers are very misleading. When you factor out the guys who A} no matter what... they will never make a connection and B} the married wankers, there's plenty of women to go around.

In my experience, the plain and oft unstated truth is that many more women (as a whole) relate to the submissive orientation and many more men (as a whole) relate to the dominant orientation. Slaves who say that there are no good Mistresses out there are the same as vanilla men or women at a bar complaining that, "all the good ones are taken." It's a convenient way of justifying ones personal failures to a simple matter of supply and demand.

I have too many "Nots"

Not interested in play only.
Not interested in married men.
Not interested in the ones that are looking for wanker material only.
Not interested in a doormat.
Not interested in submissive in the bedroom only.

I know what I want. I take time to get to know the one that I have interest in. Its not like sign on to collarme add profile and poof instant sub kneeling at my feet. Some just need to slow down and take the time to get to know each other to make sure that they meet each others needs. The fact that male submissives/slaves to female dominants are out of proportion is there yes. But finding a match is time consuming. If you are not willing to invest the time then yes there will be that frustration, with the feeling as though there are no real Dommes/Doms/Submissives/Slaves/Furries/Mommies/Daddies or what ever they search for out there.

Well said LASub! When I first became interested in this lifestyle I thought that I was entering a completely new world where none of the same rules apply. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Almost all of the women, regardless of their role ... seem to respond to the same qualities that good ol' fashioned vanilla girls do. Integrity, Charisma, Discipline, Self-Control, Dignity, Self-Respect, Humor, Intrigue, Mystery, etc. If these experts in self-pity and excuse-making would spend half of that negative energy on some positive self-improvements ... they would eventually find that they are one of the good ones that are already taken.

There are PLENTY of good quality malesubs that can't seem to find someone and I'm sure plenty more that have given up the search all together.

Well, if they aren't owned, they are not a slave...But, of course, that is My opinion only.
No quality Mistresses? Well, I guess it depends on what they are looking for. They want the **leather clad, 24/7, shouting orders, humiliate me every chance you get, Ma'am, and, by the way, you are going to get out the spreader bars and use the strap on every Friday night at 7PM, right? You are absolutely right; this only means that men want to bow to women and that women are, in fact, a superior race.

I would like to have a female sub but they seem to run when I tell them I have a male sub already. One actually told me to give up my male sub because just by the virtue of her gender she would be the better sub. I told her with that attitude I wasn't interested. I happen to love my male sub so he isn't going anywhere.

I did have something funny happen a few weeks back. This *female* sub kept sending me tit pics of her, I wrote back and told her I wasn't interested and I found sending the pics offensive. They were not flattering and she didn't turn me on at all. She kept sending them until I blocked her. She came back under a new nickname and sent more pics of her in a different colored wig. lol

So right now any female subs wanting to contact me do so only without nude pics. If I want those I'll ask for them.

I say this over and over again, but my belief is that the ration of sincere submissives to sincere dominants is pretty close to 1 to 1. It's everyone else that claims to be one of them that bogs the numbers into irrational percentages.

I want to say to the (offensive) persons who get in touch, "Treat me at least as well as you would treat a 'regular' woman you are interested in -- not like a hireable whore." I'm a person with lots of interests. BDSM is just one of them, and only part of the reason I would be attracted to a submissive.
