Hello All,
Gary Studds was the first openly gay Congress member who was able to maintain his position in the House. After admitting openly he was gay and not ask to leave his position he even chaired a Sub Committee.
In addition to that the very first male page scandal was an investigation in Mr. Studds communications with a page.
WTOP news talk radio in my area just broadcasted this tidbit as he passed away today.
I thought it interesting enough to share.
