Online, unfortunately it is next to impossible to tell what is on the other side of the computer. A lot has changed in my 15 years Lifestyle.
Ahh yes. The old days. When the Lifestyle was starting to come of age on the net. Communities embraced everyone, as long as you respected someone else's property and did not try to cyber it or steal it, you were fine. Back then, (15 years ago) there were probably 50 + real lifers to each player. Everyone respected other people's opinions. Communities were close knit. They stood by each other, both online and real life.
Ahh yes, the old days. My I wonder sometimes where they went to. At times I do ask has the internet helped the lifestyle or truly hurt it. In a way, it has brought people together with common interests. At the same time, it has destroyed it.
Granted, there are many a great site on knowledge out there.
Over the years, partly thanks to the world of online poisoning so many minds with the players, the lifestyle seems to have fragmented. Communities are more closedminded to new thoughts, members, etc. The individual couple matters more now than the groups, and if you do not share their opinions, you are considered a liar, fake, player and what not. Online the numbers have switched to over 400 players per true real lifer. Unfotunately, welcome to the net.
Perhaps I also am old fashioned. Ive looked at probably 2000+ profiles of submissives. 30% want kinky bedroom sex only, 50% have demands in their profiles, and the rest are into play rape, kidnapping and what not (assuming they even filled out a profile).
Maybe i am old fashioned, but I still respect other views. Although I am curious what you mean by "Dom feeder" in your profile.
Don't get too discouraged. Take your time. As I have always said: Before you take a collar, have every hair mole and freckle of the significant other signed and numbered. Meaning know all of their moods, their past, no skeletons in the closet, solid communication and honesty. Moiving slowly and building. Once all of it is done, then and only then truly commit to the collar.
