The Packers are looking like they will run the table. DET is looking immature and inconsistent. MIA is playing hard, but Dallas looks to finally be playing to the level of its talent. SF is a rock solid, fundamentally sound football team -- but it lacks a passing game. Field position, stopping the run, special teams, and running the ball requires keeping the game close. If SF gets behind, its offense cannot ramp up to pass it down field. V. a team like GB, SF would have to be able to run the ball and keep it, while scoring TDs on their drives. Additionally, it would need to win the turnover battle. If the two met in the playoffs in GB and the weather was bad, neutralizing the passing game, it could be quite interesting. BAL plays really well at home, and has now beaten PITT (2x), CIN, HOU, SF, and the NYJ. To make a push for the Super Bowl, BAL needs to gain the home field advantage for the playoffs. That's far from a given at this point.
