Packers play at home. Giants watch the game from home...

DarkSteven -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/30/2012 8:16:26 PM)

Number one seed and home field advantage! Yay!

Marini -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/30/2012 10:26:38 PM)

Redskins won again and are #1 in their division!!!

To quote RGIII---"Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III: 'It's just amazing what has happened'".

After the amazing win against the Dallas Cowboys on Dec.30, RGIII said "We won and that's all that matters!"
The man is profound.

Hell to the yes!!!
Hail to the Redskins, damn it!

Romo stinks it up in crunch time. How unusual.

To be fair, he also was turning the ball over well before crunch time.

Tony Romo again shows why he's the best draft pick that the Redskins ever made. :)

This town is rockin' hard today after last night's victory, divisional championship, and seasonal sweep of its arch-enemy Cowboys.

I must admit this season, even when they were falling behind, the Redskins were a fun team to watch. I hope this year's performance shows they've got their act together (finally) and is a sign of great things to come down the road.

I enjoyed the heck out of that game last night.

Redskins are #1 in the NFL this year, and we both know that.

Whispering in your ear- "Redskins Super Bowl champions in about 5 weeks?"

Happy New Year!

I'm not holding hope for THAT but if they keep playing like this .... who knows? I mean, they are on *fire* right now!

What was nice to see this year was that on top of the "stars" we FINALLY have a kicker where we don't collectively clutch our chests every time he takes the field.....we have a backup rookie QB who stepped in in a huge way that worked ... we have an o-line that finally is effective .... and a kick returner who knows (er, remembers) to run DOWN the field not backwards and side-to-side. :)

FollowingStars -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/31/2012 3:52:39 PM)

I'm busy crying for my Packers. Go Pack, go! *sighs*

*puts a whole shitload of hexes and hoodoo on the foreskins*

Don't worry about the Pack. They will kick the viqueens butts next Saturday night.

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/31/2012 8:25:51 PM)

Do you think they will try to tackle A.P. this time around ?

OsideGirl -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/31/2012 8:30:01 PM)

Boy, it was a blood bath today as far as coaches were concerned.

DarkSteven -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/31/2012 8:33:54 PM)

And yet, Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez still have their jobs.

But,in the best tradition of the NY Jets,Mike Tannenbaum was let go.
As everyone familiar with running a team is well aware this is how one goes about retooling, fire your GM,commence a search fora new GM who will be saddled with the previous GM's coach
On such stuff is the cornerstone of dynasty.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (1/1/2013 4:22:32 AM)

What is wrong with the Jets? I really thought Rex would be dismissed. Sanchez is too expensive, no one wants him, they supposedly shopped him around a few weeks ago, no takers, they are stuck.

Lots of firings....wow! Black Monday was crazy.

Level -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (1/1/2013 5:09:57 AM)

Ryan won't survive next year unless they find a new QB; they don't have a starting quality one on the roster right now.

I'm disappointed about Andy Reid, but most surprised by Lovie Smith getting axed. I fully expect both men to get hired soon.

But will Chuckie Gruden come back...

servantforuse -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (1/1/2013 5:12:34 AM)

They tried to tackle Peterson, but like every other team they weren't able to do so..
