After last night's performance not much to worry about ladybug. Denvers realigned line is not to be trusted in a big game and Peyton just doesn't have the fast ball he used to have. Once upon a time you blitzed Peyton at your own hazard,last night the Bengals did it to great success. peyton's still Peyton has he showed in the third quarter but the interception in the flat late in the fourth demonstrated the lack of zip.

Well thats just it...the man can coach defense. Some team will hire him as H.C. and get themselves a hot shot offensive coordinator and they will be set. You either coach offense or defense,few special teams coordinators get the top spot. Rex knows his side of the ball and guys like to play for him.....that's a winning combination Could he talk a bit less....sure he could,but when he came to New York the Jets were a downtrodden team continually getting their asses kicked by the Pats. Rex got to town and put everyone on notice....no more kissing Belichick's ass . He followed thru on that. Jet weekends were never again a walk in the park for NE and he got the team to two AFC championship games

Seriously...I'd like to know.... In all seriousness, I am a Pats fan from the late Grogan days...but I'd really like to have a conversation with my dad (Jets fan) that ends with him saying something other than "I hope they lose". As Eli Manning proved, NY is a place where good players want to play...maybe. Is it a Woody Johnson issue? From what I hear, the Hess's were more "hands off". And, while that may not have brought Gang Green to a Super Bowl, it certainly didn't make them this sort of laughing stock.

Doesn't address the cornerback deficit while having a coach whose philosophy is built on pressure. Pressure that is predicated on the ability of corners who can cover wr's one on one. Your animus towards Rex is proof enough to me that he was doing something right,Patriot fans hate him....I wonder why ?

The only reason I have any feelings about him is because of the discussions with my dad (Jets fan). Do you honestly think that the Jets/Pats rivalry was born in 2009? I grew up going to Jets games. NY/Boston is SO much bigger than Rex. Though, with his mouth and bravado, I'm not surprised that some think it was born with him... Yeah, I think he's not a good coach. But honestly? If it were not for my dad, Jets football in the 21st century would be a very small blip on the screen for me. I know, from past experience, that the Jets always play the Pats tough, but that has absolutely NOTHING to do with Rex Ryan. Honestly, for me as a Pats fan, I would like to see the Jets be somewhat competent. I was not surprised to see a close game last week, but that was the exception rather than the rule. Here's hoping that Woosy Johnson comes to his senses and actually gets competent people in there. Frankly, I'd like to be able to root, at least a little, for the Jets.

I even know that Revis's agent APPROACHED the Jets and Idzic personally about returning to play in Rex's defense...He was told their was no interest.None at all,for the player ,you mentioned as being the best cornerback in the business. Look you don't like Rex,I get it.I also happen to disagree with it. We can both deal with the diverging opinion and we can both wait and see if he gets another job and how he does there .

Nah,I don't see him going to the college ranks. He might do tv for a year,perhaps even a coordinators gig for a year. But ,again my opinion ,he will have another Head coaching job offer the next year.
