I awoke early Saturday Evening, about 5:00 p.m.
not wanting to waste anytime, I rushed to get on the road.
I had a long drive ahead of me, about 200 miles.
I lived in a small town called Clikapee falls. Mississippi.
The road I was drving on was an old Interstate that had nothing for about 110 miles. I filled up with gas and
made sure I brought food for the Journey.

Getting out of town on Saturday anywhere else
would have been easy, but here in Clikapee falls. Mississippi
everybody would want to be leaving to go to
the big city.

Lucky for me I take this old Interstate road and there is nothing
on it for miles. If you saw a car on it is probably lost, or new about the emptiness and serenity it brings?
After about an hour of driving,
I decided to pull over and get something to eat.
It was dark and I had to use my indoor car light.

Just then I thought I saw something or someone
whisk past the front and side of my car!
I shook my head and blinked my eyes, looked all around me, but didn't see anything.

Just then I looked over to my passenger window and
there was this figure wearing a black flowing cape and hood.
I locked the doors, and made sure the windows where rolled up.
Before I could look again the figure was on my side of the window!
My heart was racing, my pulse was surging.
Why didn’t I start the car and get going?

My hands Trembled to reach the keys! My heart racing faster!
I finally got the car started and drove off very quickly.
I turned on some music and tried to forget what just happened?
I had only gone about 50 yards when I felt the sweet smell of
Roses from a Graveyard.

My Heart racing Faster, faster! The smell of Roses surrounding
My neck, inching it’s way towards my nose.
My head leaning back, my eyes twitching.
Suddenly I felt the bite of 2 teeth marks in my neck.
Blood being drawn and at the same time a syringe being stuck in my
left arm.

Where was the car going why hadn’t I crashed?
I was now standing up naked and cold
Where was my car, where was I, my mind began to wonder?
Just then my thoughts and feelings along with my emotions and memory
Had been washed away. I opened my eyes and had a new
sense of feelings rush over my mind and soul!
I felt a long flowing cape and hood around my body, and waited
for the next car to pass by.

I had become a new Creature!
I was a new Creature of the night!

Sincerely, Anthony~

This was frickin' awesome. I haven't had a vampire fantasy in years. Now the time has come for me to revisit those thoughts...

Thanks.

Anthony,

I like to talk and I like to read. I was a grant writer in a past life and I can't seem to overcome the stilted, dry style that is required for that type of writing. I wish I could be a bit more expressive in my writing-- that I could write as I speak or take what I read and apply it to my writing style.

I will be content to enjoy the things that are posted here.
