LonesomeSub -> Damage to Glute Muscles??? (4/28/2004 2:31:35 PM)

Hello...I suppose this question seems rather odd, but....

I enjoy bodybuilding and also enjoy spankings (sometimes, unless they are of the punishment nature) but have a concern that perhaps being paddled by use of wooden paddles, straps and what have you, would damage the muscle interity of the glute muscle group.

If anyone has any knowledge pertaining to this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Midear Lonesome-

It's really, really hard to damage muscle tissue- even with a rigid implement like a paddle. The glutes are a nice big pad of muscle, well bound to the bones- about as ideal a place to whack at as anywhere on the body.

The most common effect of percussive work is a stimulation of bloodflow, which might, in fact, speed the healing and growth of surrounding tissue.

Stay Warm,
Lawrence

regular paddling to this area would actually
be exercizing the glute muscle tightning
it then releasing.
