Status: offline 		hello all....i had addressed this question on the polling place...but well i didn't actually put the poll on until after i realized i forgot about putting it on...then noone answered the question!

and so its actually 2 different questions:

question one:
If you lost a breast or two to cancer or other reasons, 

would you have reconstruction done             yes?
                                                                   no?


if you do have reconstruction done  what size would you opt for?

Status: offline 		If I were to have it done, I would only want my natural size, I wouldn't consider any other size.

I've had a lumpectomy, and when I recall how stressful that was, not knowing, the needle biopsy, the surgery, the waiting for the full biopsy, it's such a huge thing to go through.  I would probably be happy getting the bad stuff out of me and not too worried about reconstruction.  But months down the road, I would probably opt for reconstruction.  I think each woman should do what she needs to do in order to heal and make herself strong, if that includes reconstruction, go for it.

Status: offline 		Yes, I would have reconstruction surgery, for myself, not for anyone else,ie bf/hubby, etc.

I would have my normal size implanted.
But..to each their own.

Status: offline 		I would have reconstruction done, for myself, so that i once more felt like a whole woman,  i think we dont realise it but as women, our breasts make up a large part of our psyche  regarding who or what we see ourselves as.

I certainly wouldnt get my breasts any larger,  not even sure id get them the same size,  my breasts are rather hefty. That one would be a considered discussion between my doc, my Sir and myself.

I wish all of you to pu tin your input....

I am also known as candleinthewind....  I had been getting rther not nice emails from some wench  and not a wench in a good way  person that kept "picking on me" becasue i had reconstruction surgery.  I was just curious if anyone thought it was selfish or wrong to have the reconstruction done.

Prior to the double mastectomy i was a bold abd beautiful G-H cup size...post surgery i was an A+   i had reconstruction at the time of the mastectomy and that was what i ended up with.     I went in almost 2 years later and am happy with what i ended up with a c+  granted to me a C+  is still kinda small...I would rather be a D+   but well i do only have a 29 inch waiste and after 37 years of carrying around the bodacious tahtahs....well a C+  is okay...


I wrote ans asked the question just to see if you all felt that i should have kept the paultry a cup titlets i ended up with...and well i guess to shut up the one that feels that she is an all powerful goddess...and made hurtful mean comments regarding my plastic surgery.  My feeling was that i was a beautiful woman inside....why not have the insides match the inside and outside.

I appreciate the input...  buut now what do you think of a supposed Domme  that thinks of her self of a "living goddess"  that goes on and picks on a lady that has had reconstruction surgery due to breast cancer??  I mean if someone had a regular "boob job"  to me it wouldnt mean a bit of difference to me...it is a personal thing!   just some input here  would be appreciated!!

Status: offline 		I would definitely opt for reconstruction, and probably go a little smaller, like a B to C cup, simply because I'd really prefer to have smaller boobs than what God gave me.  I have heard that an added benefit is a tummy tuck, since they reconstruct with skin and fat from the lower tummy.  That would be a wonderful benefit for me! :) 

I agree that whoever emailed you is a dumbass and needs to be ignored and forgotten.  Reconstuction is even encouraged because it boosts the morale of most women, and positive thinking is extremely important in the healing process.  Chin up, boobs up and smile!

yes th erumor regarding tummy tucks and reconstruction is true....I lost my atomic momma belly  when i had my reconstruction  i now have a flat belly wic i honestly do not think I ever had....and I have a very perky set of tahtahs!!!   perhpas that is what the even thinking wenches problem is....i have boobs that are a c+  and are there like a 15 year olds are right up and perky!!  and a flat tummy..I will tell you I am squishy  no muscle tone to be found any where on my body becasu e had to be a bed bound lazy person for 2-3 month while i healed.....alot of healing to be done..andi didnt want to break any of the seams that the doctor did!!  after waiting about 2 years t rais e the money (the 2nd reconstruction wasnt covered by the insurance company) i didnt want to chance messing any of the art work that the good dr adler did...in my opinion that MAN is an absolute  artist!!!  he took my little powerpuff girl body and made me back into jessica rabbit!    

but well  there ya go  if any of you have any questions regarding any of the sutff that i have been through i would love to help anyone else that is dealing with the kind of helli have crawled out of....it is a very lonely life what i refer to as the 2 boobless years...althoug i had a great deal of emotional support...and i have a great chear leadinmg section that included various gents from this site....and wellhad it not been for those that took pictures and made me see what i was beside my tahtahs  I do not think that i would have the great self image i have today!!!!

Status: offline 		I would say who ever the very ignorant and rude person is who continues to message you with nasty messages,  isnt worth your time or effort, block\ignore them.  Do what you  need to do to make YOU feel beautiful and desirable as a woman,  and stuff the ignorant people out there.

Status: offline 		I would have reconstruction, I respect any woman's choice, but for me personally my breasts are a part of myself, my sexuality, something I love, and I would be very emotionally distraught if I had a forever reminder that I wasn't as I had been for my entire adult life up to the point of devastating cancer taking my breasts.

I would be very grateful to have even survived of course, but I don't think there's anything at all wrong with wanting to be as much like my previous-to-cancer self as possible. 

To me, cosmetic/plastic surgery is an individuals choice, and I see nothing wrong with it.  I'm happy with my size, but can't say whether or not I'd choose to go larger; I see no difference there either, I'd choose whichever I felt would be more enjoyable to me.

I think it's disgusting you were mocked for having opted to reconstruct, cancer is such a horrible disease, it's apalling anyone could make fun of someone for having had it and making choices about their bodies as a result of a very dramatic and drastic change in appearance due to ridding themselves of a terminal disease.

I second this.

I recently had a tumor in my breast biopsied.  It was a stressful experience.  Whether I had reconstructive surgery or not, had I had cancer, would be up to my Master, but I would imagine he would grant it. 

Cancer is a horrendous disease. I lost three familly members and one close friend to it last year.  Anyone berating another for their way of dealing with it has no heart, no compassion, and no class.

Status: offline 		I can't say what I would do if I went through breast cancer, that is a very difficult journey I am sure..I would guess I would have reconstructive surgery just for myself.
