I worked as a waitress when i was younger.
Short skirt and low cut tops = many tips.
I got sacked for throwing a plate of food over a jealous girlfriend.
Go figure

Good, then I won't have to go over the basics when you come to serve me, in this area. However; we plainly will have to review the advanced hospitality course a couple of times.

I possess a great deal of intestinal fortitude, but I am not the man I was 20 years ago.

I am afraid those two would require viagra with the 'kung-fu' action grip prescription.

think i'm insane, i'm choosing to go into the food service industry, at the tender age of 18 no less, oh well, at least i'm not in any way unrealistic in my expectations. i KNOW it's going to be hard, and badly paid, and crap hours...and yet i'm still going to enjoy it!

Sweetheart; even if I told myself on a daily basis, "I LOVE to get kicked in the balls, I LOVE to get kicked in the balls, I LOVE............", I doubt it would make the experience any more pleasant.

Yeah......those guido restaurants are hot-spots of employee discontent, Rumtiger.  I couldn't have taken the same steps that you took in your situation unless I was was actually working in the kitchen.......but it would have been pretty fucking sweet!!!!

Hell............if I had to be a person of Hispanic descent, I'd be a Mexican.  Not a dignified, well-off Mexican, but a spaghetti-western, gold-toothed, pistol-shootin', tequila-slammin' chicano from hell.

Sorry,  I'm laughing my ass off here.

Most of those "chicanos from hell" in the spaghetti westerns were ... Italians.  ;-)

How mexicans do you know with names like Aldo Giuffre,  Luigi Pistilli,  Claudio Scarchilli or Benito Stefanelli?

(- and that's just going down the list of ONE  Sergio Leone spaghetti westerns.  Don't  get me started on the Enzo Barboni westerns like "They Call me Trinity". -)
