Within the heart, the soul stirs
The pounding rythm echoing drums
A single fire burns bright and beautiful
The raging flames consuming, branding
Instinct wins the battle, the raging war
Controlling, commanding animalistic urges
There the stampede of wild animals sounds
A heady roar filling the ear with noise
Fear, adrenaline surging through vessels
Aggression and the will to fight take form
The fleeting image of consuming flesh
Cannabilistic hunger and thrumming desire
Rage it has been called, the word is so bleak
Passion, lust, fiery need and craving arise
The want to take, to control, to rape and pillage
Feelings as old as time, yet fresh as a spring rain
Surges of strength moving outward from the core
The spirit and soul that is moved by nature
Guided by darkness, sheltered by light
Embrace the feeling as if were part of the body
The quiet crackle of lightning, the fury of a tornado
Intoxicating, and yet frightening as it's grip holds You.
