Master and I have been together for a year.  For our year anniversary we are going to Vegas for a week.

Both of us adore edge play and heavy play...However due to work, friends, family etc we keep all bruises and cuts below the belt.

I have been a really good girl this year and The Master has promised me a black eye and maybe a split lip to proudly wear while in Vegas.

 Is it possible to do this without bone or teeth breaking?  How can this be done with bruising, some blood but no need to visit the Hospital?

I watch UFC all the time and they get beat in the face constantly and not always broken.

I know this is WAY to extreme for most, but I am not looking for safety police but people who have some constructive advice.

thank you.

There's never a guarantee that you're not going to break a mandible, maxilla, orbit (very breakable) or knock out teeth.  That happens with the fighters all the time, even with heavy duty & custom fitted mouthpieces.  What you don't see of the Ultimate and Extreme Fighting Series is the soft tissue damage that transpires 12-48 hours later.  Many of them have chronically fractured orbits and excessively scarified facial muscles.

Not to be a party pooper, but visible injuries like that are more concerning than just the physical damage that might transpire.  How about the legal ramifications of running amok in Vegas sporting that look?  Exposure to a society who is sensitized to domestic violence issues? Visible injuries give a law enforcement officer (and health care professional) probable cause for you and your other half to be stopped and questioned about a domestic violence charge.  Them SEEING your injuries is invitation alone.  I'm afraid that those type of injuries are going to be a hard sell convincing them that being beaten about the head was a consensual act.  LVMPD Vice is pretty up to date when it comes to consent vs abuse, but even some of those guys would be drawing a line in the sand on that.

Like MsPandora, I'm not sure if there is a way to do this safely. I would avoid it because of the health risks and because of the trouble it could bring on you and your dominant. However, if you must do it, make sure you have neosporin for your lip and he isn't wearing any rings while he hits your eye. Just do it during the day so that you can go to the hospital if anything goes wrong.

when my wrist was broken accidentally during a session Master had to take me to hospital and the staff were less than understanding and though He was abusing me.
Also in any intentional  very physical scenario, how would you cope if the marks didn't disappear before you were around family etc again? Of course there are camoflaging makeups out there that may be used to hide bruising so maybe that would be useful. this girl has hidden a black eye given by Master using makeup carefully.

While I do think there might be some legal issues that could arise from this type of play, I believe it's a matter of willingness to accept that type of risk.  If you guys can do that, great.  I think it's -possible- that none of those horrible, bad things will happen, but that's no guarantee.

<Sarcasm>
Splitting a lip can be relatively easy, especially in the cold winter months.  Forget about your chapstick, gloss, and lipstick for a few weeks, lick your lips and wipe them on your shirtsleeve constantly.  Add a mouthguard and few whacks to the mouth...Viola...Split lip.

My only experience with a black eye was unintentionally taking a softball to the upper cheek, but I don't recommend it.

My best suggestion would be to wrestle around in just the manner your parents always warned you not to....the best facial injuries always occur when you least expect them.
</Sarcasm>

And always remember...It's all fun and games 'til someone loses an eye, then, hey!  Free eyeball!

Best of Luck,

MrsShadows

While you may be "proud" of wearing a black eye and split lip, there are going to be many other feeling horrified at what they're seeing.....and they didn't consent to see it.

Just sayin'

If you want bruising, how about loading up on the aspirin before hand for a few days?  Heat will also help the bruising appear worse.  The split lip should be Ok and could be explained away, but a black eye really dose pose more of a risk and since I ahve no experirnce I will not try to answer that one.  good luck, I nhope whatever you do ti is fun for you both!

As Pandora said, it's certainly possible, but not possible to know BEFOREHAND or make sure that this is the result you get.

You could always explore the extreme side of things that involve absolutely no physical contact...there's a whole world out there.

Having been in karate for many years, trust me, there is NO way to safely gaurantee brusing without the risk of other damage. I have had split lips, and even my mouth guard didnt prevent some major toothaches for a long while. As for a black eye, you always run risks with deicate face bones.  Ive not broken any, but I have had some major eye trauma to go along with my shiners. When you are intending to do damage, trying to physically limit the damage you do is nearly impossible when you are concerning yourself with a place like your face.  It isnt as durable as your sides, or your legs, and has far more breakable parts.

As for wandering around vegas looking beaten up, the Vice cops will probably at least talk to you about it. I live here, trust me. With the number of bar fights and such that go on, though, you can just say you were in one and they wil usually accept that. Explaining it isnt so bad.

WantonThroat...as others have said, there's no guarantee that you won't chip a tooth, break or bone, or have some other injury that needs a professional's care. however it's certainly possible to engage in the sort of activities you seek without any of the above consequences. my Master beats me in more "traditional" ways as well...slapping, punching, kicking. so i've had my share of black eyes, swollen jaws and busted lips. if you need to cover the heavier bruises, a good creamy foundation can help, in addition to some big sunglasses, which you might be able to get away with wearing at night in a place like Vegas. and if you're trying to avoid major damage, maybe you could ask your Master to avoid your jaw, as well as the bone surrounding your eyes, as an injury to either of those places can take a good while to heal. also for his own protection as much as yours he could avoid giving you a direct punch to the mouth. a strong slap can bust a lip just as well.

Once (during the last time we tried to switch roles) I had my dominant tied up and blindfolded. He was snapping his jaws to try and bite me and take control of the situation again (apprently being bound makes dominants more dominant, we gave up switching after this) and he accidently bit my arm. Very very very hard. For a week or two I had a very large bruise that unmistakably a bite mark on my arm. It was during the summer so long-sleeved shirts were out of the question. My parents were less then thrilled.

Good point. Nothing freaks a friend out like having to wonder if that bruise is the mark of a good time or something they need to worry about.

That is a rather dismissive attitude to take with people who are offering you their best advice. If you don't want people's advice, don't ask for it.

Ok Im not beeing the safety police and not saying dont do this or that Im just adding something you may not know...

i dont bruse easy at all and my bruses heal pretty rapid... last year my younger sister decked me and gave me a black eye (it was an accident we where horsen around she dont know her own strength)

and lets just say it took a little over 2 weeks for the black and blue to go away to almost unotisable so I can safely say there is almost no chance that it will be any were near gone in one week even if he where to do it the secent you got there!!

I just wanted you to be aware of that because it doesnt seem you are.. other then that.. well you have to accept when you are into extremes that there is just no safe way to do some things!! this I beleave is one of them!!
