I LOVED Porky's... all three of em! [:D] *Miss Cherry Forever... snickers... loved that scene...*

Hmm... what else?... not really 'cult', but I can watch Jurassic Park over 'n over again. The orinigal Nosforatu (german version), Phantom of the Opera (Lon Chaney). For offbeat, I simply adore the Halarious House of Frankenstein... [sm=lol.gif]

DiurnalVampire -> RE: Favorite cult movie (11/19/2006 12:10:56 AM)

OK, my votes.
Princess Bride
Monty Python (I was in a Monty Python based sketch comedy troupe at Brandeis U. called Boris' Kitchen for 2 years... we did the Python sketches as wel as ones we wrote ourselves...)
Rocky Horror (I did makeup, and was one of the crowd plants for a long while)
Dawn of the Dead

I am also one of the ones that dresses up for LOTR screenings, and for Anne Rice Vampire movies in theaters (and just abot any other vampire movie... go figure)

DV

Hi sweet [:D]. Is Them the one where Arness is the monster, in Antartica or something? If so, I like that one too.

Omega Man ... meh,  I've a rule about remakes.  Sorry,  but Vincent Price was much better in the role when the movie was called "The Last Man on Earth".  But neither movie did justice to the story both were based off,  I AM LEGEND.

John Carpenter's version is one of the very few remakes that I LIKE.  Of course,  this is because it is closer to the story "Who Goes There?" which is what both movies were supposed to be based off.
