I noticed that CollarMe is fast approaching 100,000 registered users - WOW & Congrats! What a great party it would make if we ever decided to hold a convention. But hey, I know it's the internet. Maybe the reality is that there are just 25 or so of us creating profiles and posting under other personalities for our own amusement.

I've wondered what the real chances are of meeting someone here, getting together with them, getting to know them, and forming a nice relationship. beth and I met in this manner, and on March 1st it will be our 2nd anniversary. We know of a few others who met in this manner.

The question is how many of the 100,000 are really active, looking for someone, and are available. In other words what are the real chances of hooking up? You know, even if everyone picks numbers 2, 4, or 5; you still have to address location, age, preferences, and yes, physical attractiveness.

As far as I know, your name isn't recorded in the tally, so unlike Yahoo, you won't be "outed" for telling the truth.

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity!

We met in this manner. It was on another site. And in June it will be 2 years as well.

Went through a lot of HNG's, wannabe's, and jerks while "looking". But . . . . . damn it was worth it! Kind of like the saying "you have to kiss a lot of toads to find one prince."

We met last August. I flew there and stayed a few days. And there are plans in the works to go back around April. And if all goes well, (I have no doubt) that I will be moving there before the end of the year.

Of course that takes me off the active list.

Happy Anniversary!

Take care,

Merc and Beth,
Simply out of curiousity, how long after you met yours online did she move in with you?

ruffnecksbaby,
No problem we are an open book. beth moved in about 6 months give or take a day or so, from first meeting with many extended weekends in between.

Well, I voted poly.

My lady and I are very happy and have been married for 13 years, privately playing all the time. But we are also looking for another to be with us, female sub, pretty and asian by preference. Long list of things that we are looking for, not the least of which is "clean, non-smoker". This would be for permanent joining of our family, and that takes some doing.

We thought we had her at one point, but she couldn't handle sharing me. So, that was out.

So I fit into both categories, the last one and the poly one. Joy.

Have a partner, married 36 years, been His unofficial sub since we were married but didn't realize it until a few years ago.

Well, I have this one. How many do you have? I mean, the idea is there you brought it up. Obviously as we've just found out dread has several.
I'm sure it probably is quite common.

Gloria,
Only one, and that's for both of us. I keep most of my alternative personalities in check. Although sometimes "billy-boi", the transgendered, transsexual, bi-sexual, switch, personality sneaks out and walks Sunset Blvd at 3:00am; but he/she isn't allowed on the computer.

But hey - did you notice there was an honest person who admitted just being here for "inspiration"? Diogenes, we've found your man! (or woman).

Seems everyone should be able to find someone. No lurkers, and one honest man, hiding from his wife.

I meet my Domina almost a year ago on-line at a different site.

We travel back and forth for our RT needs, since we are 400 miles apart.

Although there is no one else involved, we maintain an open relationship
(even-though I would prefer monogamy with her).

We look at our future as together, as monogamous partners, Poly with one
or two added individuals, or my meeting someone whom I desire who fits more
my wants for monogamy, and remain friends.

So...I guess I would say I am in a relationship so I am not Actively Seeking, but
also I am open to meeting someone or if I ran across a profile that interested me or
someone contacted me, I would be free to look into any interest I may have.

I am in the 'between assignments' category - and REALLY looking forward to the day when I snag that sub. Still, life is good. The 'quest' makes the finding that much more worthwhile.

Master and I met on Yahoo.com. I had an adult profile and He knew that there was "Something up with me".

I met a women that is one of my best friends on Alt.

I am sorry to say that I have never met anyone in real life from Collarme, but I know that the opportunity is there.
