I want to get some for quick temporary clean up, but I am worried that all the crap like aloe and scents and stuff would encourage female problems like yeast infections

I have used them several times without issue.

Just make sure you're not flushing them if they are non-flushable.  Anytime I need to freshen up those umm...personal areas,  I use Cottenelle Flushable Wipes.  They are specifically made for bathroom function cleaning.  In the grocery store you find them next to the toilet paper (not in the baby and diaper section). You just wipe whatever needs wiping and they flush right down the toilet.  Barely a scent to them and I've never had any irritation from them.  But Im not the sensitive type or prone to infections.  Give them a shot.  I love them.

I use them daily, I'm slightly OCD and the fuzzies from toilet tissues just wig me out.  Never had any problems from them, and I have notoriously sensitive skin.

I used the unscented variety, and recommend those if you're having any doubts about an allergic reaction/irritation.

Not sure about the general population but dancers have used them for years, keep you fresh and pretty lol

I prefer the unscented newborn wipes if I bother going with any.  However, they ahve never causeda problem for me. However, the cottonelle ones and whatnot have had major reactions for me. I itched and burned for days after using those.  Never again, baby wipes it is for me.

And Im not sure where the poster was going with the immune system line of reasoning...what does the immune system have to do with whether or not a babywipe is safe to use on a baby's skin?

I believe you were the one mentioning how "harsh" all these chemicals are, and how easy it is to absorb chemicals through mucosal membranes. It makes sense to me at least that babies would be more prone to infections and reactions from chemicals due to their lack of immune system.

I am allergic to everything as my Master often puts it and we use the Sensitive wipes from both Equate, and Pampers for our daughter, him, and me. We have them stashed in every nook and cranny of the house because they are cheap cleanup, and work fast as well as are always there when we need them.

We also buy the 'flushable' wipes for in the bathroom that are sensitive formula by Walgreens (edited out Cottonelle -lol- for some reason tiredness brought with from last post the word). But I have never had any issues with any of these things on our daughter (who's potty training) my Master, nor myself.

Hope this helps as I am allergic to literally almost everything shampoo's, conditioners, laundry detergents, skin lotions, lubricants, latex, as well as the list goes on. I also have Skin Lupus which makes matters even harder.

Pampers Sensitive or Huggies Newborn are great. Huggies Shea butter are really nice as well.

I'm allergic to tones of things as is my little one and these three were the best.

I use them all the time (for all kinds of things) and I've never had a problem. Try it out and see if they work for you.
