I think its a bunch of crap... I think that woman just compare themselves way more openly than what men would.  I do however wonder if that is what a master wants if its just an occasional thing then does a sub have to by bi to get it on with another woman or could there just be satisfaction in satisfing her master.  Its nothing I think I would want to persue because personaly I think woman to woman is really boring and if I were to make a sub do that then it would be a form of humiliation so from my perspective I dont understand why the bi or not bi would ever come into play.  I'm more of the shut up and do what your told sorts...

In my opinion a lot of this is less to do with porn and more to do with guys struggling to see how someone can not like women.....

good fffing grief,  when someone says something stupid, you get to label them as an idiot and move on.  The sooner they show they are an idiot the quicker you get to move on.

The real question is why do we need endless threads about what fools say?

Well K, I certainly felt the two that said this to me were foolish, and as it was long before FirmHandKY and I met, I think I moved on easily enough.

But my question was to find out if this type of opinion on women was a widely held belief... especially in light of the high number of dominants I've seen who require bi-sexuality in their femsub.  It is not, most certainly, held by all doms; I know better than that.  But to find out if many others had come across this particular belief, and to see if there were any rational explanations for its existence.

The ultimate purpose is to provoke discussion.  A sharing of ideas, opinions and experiences.  If, in the process of sharing, people learn... so much the better.  Perhaps a dom in the making will lose an erroneously held belief.  Perhaps a new sub will learn that there is nothing wrong with her in feeling the way she does.

*shrugs*  You never know... stranger things have happened.

This to me is the squeaky wheel is getting the grease kinda of thing....  An overwheleming number of idiots spout off "all woman are naturally bi-sexual" and suddenly this is suppose to be precieved as a general thought amoung Dominants?  No... I would say that it is a general thought amoung Idiots!!!

Oh no, KoM... I'm not suggesting that this is a general belief among dominants.  I do know better than that.

I like women so I guess I am a bisexual, if I liked men, why wouldn't I be a unisexual, and men and women a pansexual?

In a recent thread, it was touched upon briefly by a couple of the posters that they had, at one time or another, heard from a dom that all women are naturally bi-sexual.  I, too, have been directly subjected to this proclamation by a dominant or two in the past, and it has been my general impression that a very large number of dominants expect their submissives to be bi-sexual.

It made me curious to see just how prevalent this particular belief is among doms that all women, whether they know and acknowledge it yet, are naturally bi-sexual... and perhaps find out what reason there is for holding this belief.

Hello treasure. I don't think all women are bi, I just hope they are . Kidding aside, I don't thin all women are, no more than all men are. Some guys might just use that as a tool to push their woman in that direction, maybe make her feel less reticent. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem either way, if she's bi, fine, if not, fine.

A Dominant wishing a bi sexual submissive and one who thinks all women are bi sexual is not the same thing is it?  One is a fool, one is stating a preference.

Your original question was what I responded to which was about why some Doms thought women were naturally bisexual, that is quite different from asking why some Doms want bi sexual submissives.  There is no rational for what a fool thinks, you simply mark them as a fool and move on.

Personally I have always gotten along better with women who are bisexual, regardless of  whether we ever involved others are not.  My current little one is bi sexual and when we interact with another female we look for the same.  On the other hand she has also been working as a switch and when we use male submissives we also only use bi ones.

What I find facinating is how many guys pick up on my 'bi' note in my profile and automatically think it means there'll be a revolving door of women in 'our' bed!

I think that's pretty much the case Level.  I've had many men and women ask if I'm bi even tho I state quite clearly that I am not and simply don't have any interest in it.  Personally, I see it as a preference, not a limit or a test of one's submissiveness, although I've had that thrown at me also.

In my opinion, anybody who says that ALL (any type of person) are (anything) is living in a fantasy world.

dear pony
youre rite ;its a form of humiliation to go gay ,if you never were inclined ,and ,of course bi is defined ,by the american psychiatric and american psychological association, as the most well balanced to be ,however ,it is ,not experience ,but, what you come to, that determines the preference, if it's male ,or female- genitals ;there's your preference ,rather cut and dry ;like it ,or not ....
and, if it's a bottom/masochist ;bi is bi , if you accidently ,or after a while .... come to, both genitals ,in mind while orgasiming;
*NOTE: , in mental-health apparantly being "bi" is somehting, to brag about

Weird.  The only figure I recall hearing is that one in ten human beings of either sex are homosexual, and one in twenty is bisexual.

That seems like a pretty long way from "all women" or 100%.  That seems more like 5%, which would be about the ratio that I have run into personally.

Hi Level.   Now just why would you hope that?

I think you do have a point that some guys might use it as a tool.  Reminds me of guys in high school trying to talk their way into girls' panties.    Sex should not be hard work!

*laughs*  Okay, K... you have a point.  Logic would dictate that a dominant who prefers and requests a bi-sexual female is, by default, admitting that there are females who are not.  You are right, those are two separate and unrelated questions.

Teach me to try to think so early in the morning.

I agree ...you are who you are..and thus it should never be used in context by any Dominant as a way to punish or to test a submissive..or even an act to be pushed ....any man or Dominant that tries that happy horse manure on me will see my backside as I walk away......Tempting

I must be one of the 5%. I'm bisexual, and my Dom wasn't seeking a submissive or a bisexual when we met- it was just "let's see if we click." I've never really thought about being bisexual as being a commodity, but I guess to some it is- I have always just felt that it's a part of who I am, but like each part, not one that singularly defines me.

Just some thoughts.

I, personally, think that all women are naturally at least bi-curious.  However, I believe that society has trained women who would normally be bisexual or bi-curious to be strictly straight.  For those women who claim to be completely straight, growing up in a more open-minded society would have allowed them to realize their true sexual orientation when they reached adulthood.

http://www.psych.northwestern.edu/psych/people/faculty/bailey/index.html

This guy has done some interesting research on sexuality in men and women.
You can read more about it on his research page:  http://www.psych.northwestern.edu/psych/people/faculty/bailey/research.html

Read what he says about sexual arousal in women.  It's pretty neat.
