[Sorry...i took a couple of teacher classes and it sounded vaguely familiar.  Never paid too much attention to it in the classroom...i was only substitute for a couple of years.]

Okay...first, I don't know if I'm bad luck, or just what, but this thread went on for over 180 pages before I started to frequent it. Then, it kind of dries up in less than 10 pages.

And yes, I'm sure you were right about the mosquitoes.

Anyway....as far as the last quartet, it looks like they were all books by Bell Hooks.
