Pretty much, they're the names of souls assigned by Egyptians
ka being the life force
ba vitalizing force
akh state of death
ab the conscious, ethical values and moral judgement

The ab is, basically, the heart; it's not really a soul.

Really? I look at as the part of the soul that speaks for right/wrong, ethics etc. However I can see where it could be said to be the heart. For the Egyptians (as I interpret it) One could lose their ab (the ethically devoid or those without a conscience (sp) such as a serial killer perhaps) and yet still be a living being. Of course I could be completely and utterly wrong. It is simply my interpretation of things.

Is there still a quartet to be solved?

Its ok, I screwed up yesterday a couple times on which post was which going between the two. I'll leave it to someone else to post a quartet. I've been cursing DC for well over an hour now because class starts early in the morning and I really should have been studying. By the way, its been a pleasure to battle wits with you this evening. Bingo...some of the greatest actors of their time and they've never even been nominated. Although JB was given an honorary posthumously I do believe but I'll have to fact check that for sure.
