They do it all - produce, direct and write.

Whoa - stumped you on your first try, too! Damn; how often do I knock down both of you with one blow?

I'm afraid that is not the correct answer.

ok cheap shot but hey what is google for anyway? All made films with John Cazale in them, which by the way were the only feature films the poor guy ever made.

Heck, I knew there was nobody who was going to get that without google. There were probably only two people in the world who knew that one off the top of their head, and one of them's dead.

Now it's your turn!

And one of them is John Cazale.  That would make YOU, dear panda, the other one.

*it had to be said.

I can't take credit - I didn't know it off the top of my head, either. I had to google it. So unless Marvin Starkman posts here, that one was never going to get solved without the google!

And the above all have something to do with computer history.

No idea what though.

They are all 2nd generation computers of the late 1950's and early 1960's.  One of my first jobs during high school was with the IBM 1620.

The Fluffster is her own private google. When the people who own google can't find an answer, they don't google it - they "fluffypet" it.

He's back!  Wrote my first computer program in High School (in Chicago, IL) in 1967 - yep, that's right, 42 years ago and am still at it.  <You think after all these years, I could get my first program right, so that I can move to the 2nd. LOL!>

Who knew I was picking one of fluffy's better categories?

Well, Lance, it's time for me to clear core (remember to save registers!) and get some sleep.

Hey, Lookie, you're on the wrong page.

It's Musicmystery's turn to post a quartet.

LookieNoNookie was answering the title of the thread (string? rope? cable?) which is "What Do These Things Have In Common?"  He is correct if the title were "What Do These Words Have In Common?" and if we weren't getting close to 250 pages!
