Not a clue, sorry. [&:]

We have an 8-year old collie and a black and white rabbit. If my girl had her way, we'd have shitloads more but we don't have the space or the money.

I grew up with cats and much prefer them, but it's just not feasible right now...

I have two old cats.  One I love and one I must love since she pisses on everything and isn't dead yet.  A semi old dog who thinks he's a cat.  Two dwarf hamsters.  A hermit crab.  An empty fishtank.  I want a little bantam rooster and some bantam hens.  [:)]

It just makes me feel good to rescue a cat..omg he has so taken over this house! If I lay to take a nap he will jump up there and join me...I am so blessed to have him...He sleeps all day long on the chair here then at night he goes on the prowl..typical cat eh?

You do realize that a knife fish can get quite a bit bigger, and a lot meaner, than a cat?

Yes, yes they do. Unfortunately, my oscar was meaner. Poor Jack. His face got eaten off. It was HORRIBLE. [:(] But I think my oscar was laughing. Thats cichlids for ya.

The only pets I currently have are two gerbils, Eros and Agape. They were born on valentines day, so I thought the names appropriate. Over the years I've lived with cats, dogs, fish, parakeets, snakes, and a vaugely ape-like thing that wasn't very good at cleaning up after itself, but gave great backrubs.

Lorelei - did your vaguely ape-like thing go out and not come back by any chance?

Tip for the future; neutering makes them wander less.

Or is that tom cats?

Oh well, give it a try anyway

I have two monster kitties who showed up on my doorstep when they were babies and a rescued feral kitty who has to be kept seperate from the other two because they hate him. The 2 older ones are 22 & 17 lbs and the little one is only 9 lbs.

I used to have dogs but now prefer cats, something to do with not having to get up in the middle of the night & let them out. Plus they're better behaved (cats) or  the dogs I know need schooling.

Yes, I know all about cichlids.  I have  pair of blue chromides in my brackish tank, each about 1 1/2" long.

In there, I also have a pair of  silver dollars (3" long and round) and a chinese 9 fin dragon (Long eel like thing, about 8" long)

Guess who eats first?

Yours,

benji
