FelinePersuasion -> Bleeding after anal play (11/28/2006 10:41:27 AM)

WE were not rough, we did not go to fast we used lube,  there was no pain, one toy did cause burning but we took it out right away, it was some kind of sticky nasty jelly toy,we  took our time, but after anal play with a few of my dildo's I was bleeding. I wiped my backside to clean up the lube and the tissue came back with tons of pink on it, it was totaly pink, and the next three new wipes came back bloody pink too, and the wet wippe I had had a bright red spot of blood.

I am thinking perhaps it was the lube irritating me because I have done anal on myself with these very same toys, and no problem no blood, but there certaintly was blood  this time, and I don't really know why cause we were gentle and all and no the toys were not to big, cause I have used them no prob before.

how much blood? if it's a large amount i would suggest you see the doctor.i would imagine it's somewhat normal to bleed with anal play..but then again i'm no doctor...i know i use to bleed when i had hemmroids and my Master would do anal sex on me..omg. be careful.

The small amount of bleeding that you seem to be describing is nothing to worry about even the bright red part.  Very likely you developed a small tear or scrape in the anus.  Did you notice any pain on bowel movements after the play?  Very commonly with small tears the next couple of days may be accompanied with bleeding and pain on defecation.  If there has been no further pain or bleeding I would not worry.  The anal area is relatively delicate and minor scrapes and tears can happen but 99.99% of the time they heal spontaneously without any difficulty.  This area has a very rich blood supply which is why even minor scrapes can cause bleeding but it also means that the area has phenomenal healing ability, witness the healing after a woman delivers a child even if there is a tear into the rectum itself.

Well in the first wipe it was the entire swatch of small tissue paper, each time I wiped with a new tissue, it was pink too, on the wet wippe it was a a small  round drop less than dime size. I can't say like oh a quart of blood or three quarters of a quart no measurments like that just 3 wipes worth of pink.

Agreed. Just a thought - perhaps go with a lubricant you are comfortable with and works better for you. There are ingredients which cause irritation, (preservatives like Quaternium-15, fermented sugar byproduct Glycerin, etc.), and water-based lubes do also tend to dry out much faster, (causing friction and irritation to the internal lining.)

Oil-based lubes can leave a coating behind on the rectum which can contribute to a bacterial or other infection, beyond breaking down latex safter-sex products like gloves, condoms and dams.

Silicone-based lubes do seem to last longer and are safe to use with condoms, but can irritate if used too long, or not washed out well enough after internal use. Hopefully you did not use a silicone-based lube with that sticky 'jelly' toy, (that jelly wasn't 'cyberskin' silicone, was it?), as it will break down and destroy the life of the toy...

I would agree that a small tear should heal quickly on its own. Do try to find a lube you can use as frequently as you need to without irritation, and happy playtimes...

Best,

~Thea

I didn't go poop I was  going pee though and had a lubey slippery butt I didn't like so i wiped up lol.

MistressTheaz, the sticky toy was jelly not cyber skin no, it's one of the ones that are very sticky and has this slimey feel to it, heh that could probably describe a lot of toys. it was astroglide, I have some water based stuff from hustler, I haven't tried it yet, but In ever had any problem with iD glide.

Sounds like it was simply a scraped membrane.  A fissure or a nicked hemmrhoid wall would have been bright red blood and you would have known about it.  If you're concerned, talk to your doc and get a rectal exam.

I wouldn't worry.  Sometimes I bleed when I take really big shits.  I don't think you have anything to worry about.

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Bleeding after anal play (11/29/2006 10:39:53 AM)

Ren bleeding from pooping can be hemoroids, or a sign that you're stool is to hard, or you're pushing to hard to excreet. Next time we're going to try a diffrent lube and see what happens.

Renorei -> RE: Bleeding after anal play (11/29/2006 10:42:49 AM)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm pushing too hard and making small tears.

charismagirrl -> RE: Bleeding after anal play (11/29/2006 10:53:23 AM)

Astro glide tend to be a good choice as well as KY (the majority of docs use that one). Maybe it was something that was already irritated after a BM that caused issues when you used the toys; this would make sense if you'd played without incident before with the same toys and lube.

Don't let it scare you too much though, even if you have an issue one time doesn't mean that you always will, it just means that the situation was right at the moment to have a small problem.

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Bleeding after anal play (11/29/2006 10:58:13 AM)

I bled the day before too, not much though justone tiny little spot and that was it. I didn't have much penitration that day. Anal play with astroglide has felt kind of " off"  with just afinger and a glove, so I'll see what diffrent lube feels like cause ID glide has not bothered me.
