Once a year I get offered one of those free astrological reports around my bday time.  So I put in my data, my birthday date, time and location added in to get a full report.
I am a sagittarrius.  What was really funny was, there wasn't anything on my report that didn't fit.  Everything fit me to a T, right down to my work ethic.
Pretty cool I thought.. then I stopped to wonder if other people who have had a chart done have had similar experiences with it.  I mean.. MAYBE all the reports are the same.  Could it be that I, as a sagittarius, might have the same report as a taurus?

Have any of you out there had a chart done before?  If so, does it fit?  And if you have, have you ever compared it to another sign?

I'm a sagittarius as well and it's always seemed to match me well. I've also done the charts for my brother, mother and father. Each one was different, but seemed to match them as well. I never put any stock into them, but they are fun to do. Here's a link to a birthday calculator that you might find fun as well.. I know I did!

Sagittarians are all alike.

Its the only fair way to have things, since we are the best people on the planet, and it would be unworkable to have a genius/grunt ratio any less or more than 1:12.

The title of this thread should be "Sagittarian egos" hehehe.. not that there's anything wrong with that... I haven't gotten my chart for this year but if I do one I'll be sure to let you know!

I am 12/19.. hell week.
I tend to think Sag's are the best, smartest, most creative and inquisitive people around.  LOL.. but, it has been my experience I cannot date a fellow sag for anything more than casual fun.  They are too difficult to pin down.

Oh.. my birthday's December 2nd.. Close enough to the beginning of the month that I usually don't get "double gifts"... I've never met a fellow sag in person. Apparently we're a rare sign to find.

Another sag here... the 13th of December and I have to agree... Sagitarians are among the smartest, most open minded of the zodiac!!! No ego... just truth.

One of my relatives is a Sagittarius.  He has a PhD in a branch of physics.  He is also one of the least open minded, most obtuse, and narcissistic people I know.

On the other hand, I am a Scorpio, and mythologically we have issues with Sagittarians.

So I am probably wrong.

If you stick around long enough say 26000 years then theoretically you can choose to have any star sign you might prefer. I'm not going to tell you why because I might be wrong but I would have to say that  is most unlikely.

The only problem is that those stars that have so much influence on your personalities just will not stand still for any length of time so what is a Saggitarius today could be something else tomorrow and you will all end up being more confused then you are today.

I hope thats clear ?

I'm a Sagittarrius too, Dec 17th.
I got the "travelling" part all done about 40 different countries and took a train by myself cross country when I was 11 years old.

my Sagittarian mother is the same as what Sinergy is saying...smart as all get out but.....thankfully she has mellowed with age.

Also i own a program that calculates bithcharts and a few that will give reports on said birthcharts and can tell you that no two are exactly the same, though some can be close.

i have found that my chart also discribes me well.

I must admit that I am often convoluted and often incomprehensible. It is always unintentional, sometimes, I think the world is privy to my internal conversation.

I just wanted to make clear that poor Kramer, who may have done a lifetime of good is being damned for a lapse of sensitivity. Let's just pardon him and tell him that we are grateful that he reminded us of the parts of ourselves that we do not wish to be or see.

All of us are not blessed with manners, grace, and the good sense to shut up when we should. I'll bet that his (unknown) virtues are weeping at the damnation," that he is receiving from most quarters.

I want to thank him for all the giggles he gave to so many, the relief from life's pain that his humor brought to so many. I never once saw his TV show, but millions did, and loved it.

Yeah, I have found while I share some traits with other sags, not all fit me.  But this chart I had done asked for location, time, date, ect.. and everything on that description fits.  Even the negative traits are undeniable.
Out of curiousity I did a basic chart on my former dom.. and what do you know, it fit him too.
Weird stuff.

The program i have requires those things as well. i find astology very interesting and somewhat insightful. It can be a good starting place in understanding someone. When i did my oldests i suddenly realized why i could not understand him...he's not from this planet, or time for that matter. Of course one should always keep in mind environmental conditioning. Every sign has its good side and its bad and everyone its purpose.

i am kinda amused that i had taken a guess as to the sign of one poster who has responded and they have confirmed my insight to be correct.

my thoughts of course.

This thread is treading ever so delicately towards the realization that ANY astrological profile will largely fit ANY individual.  A good profile is composed predominantly of what are know as "Förer statements."  These are statements that sound precise and specific, but will, in fact, be accepted as accurate self-description by at least 80% of the population.

Underneath, we are all far more alike than we care to believe.

I agree.

Except for we Sagittarians.

We are special.

So there
