I read today where someone stated the reason why many are sad/depressed on Valentine's Day is because it is the day we take stock of "...the rubble of failed relationships" in our lives.
So for those of you who do this, here is my Public Service Announcement to you: STOP THINKING THIS WAY -- THEY WERE NOT FAILED RELATIONSHIPS!!! These alleged "failed" relationships are actually LESSONS -- lessons that teach us what we want and don't want, like or don't like, who is right and who is wrong for us, and who is right or wrong for them.
Thus, if you are not "with" someone this Valentine's Day 2005, it is because you have LEARNED what you want and are now SMART ENOUGH NOT TO SETTLE... Got it?!!
Now get off your ass and go treat yourself for being exponentially smarter than all your "friends" who are "with" someone today -- but will be calling you a month or two from now and proclaiming, "How could I have been so stupid?"
{{{{{ HUGS }}}}} to all of you who need one today, but seriously... be proud you're not foolish enough to settle for just anyone... Now go get some ice cream -- and I don't mean that "low fat" crap... Get the REAL stuff kids!!!
