Some people need to know that they can't escape. Sounds like he's one of them.

Bondage mittens would work but they are expensive. So try having him make a fist over a balled pair of his socks. Wrap duct tape over the fist. If the hand is too big to get through the rope or cuffs, he shouldn't be able to escape. Usually Houdini types are able to fold their hands so they are the same size as the wrist and thus can pull the hands through the rope.

He's definitely one of them. The few times he was unable to escape he loved it......I'm talking major subspace. The thread benji sent is similar in some ways, but I think mine just gets bratty in hopes that my frustration will lead to a better tie up. To him it's all about the inability to escape. speak, or yell for help. He wants to be completely helpless, totally at a woman's mercy. I did ask him if he played Houdini with mistresses in the past and he said yes (he's not currently seeing another mistress). He said he was punished when they got frustrated, but can't remember how. What taming techniques work best on someone with this personality type?

If he's a masochist, have him sit on the bed all day, tell him not to move.

If he's not, beat him till he's black, blue, green and orange.

If that don't fix him, kick him to the curb.  Or skip step one, and do this directly.

Then again, having a sub like that is good for drama, so you might enjoy it.

Yours,

benji

Can't remember how he was punished???  Either they didn't do a good job of punishing him, or he hated it and doesn't want it again so he's lying to you ...

Seriously, someone who is trying to get out of bondage doesn't want to be tied up - I dont' care what they say about "I need to know that I can't get out" ... if you want to be tied up, then why are you trying to get out of it, and if you aren't trying to get out of it then how in the hell do you know that you can?

It's all about the fantasy, not the reality, in this case.

Take that however you want.

I'm not sure how else to explain it. He throws down a challenge for me to tie  him up so he can't escape. I think of creative ways to tie him up. It never works and I get frustrated. He encourages me by saying better luck next time, but I still get frustrated.  Knowing he has tried and can't escape is what puts him in subspace. The few times he hasn't been able to get loose proved that. BDSM is about pleasing one's partner, right? I need more secure tie up ideas to keep him in subspace. I love the way he clings to me and will do anything I say once he's in subspace.

If he's your sub, then he should not be trying to frustrate you.  He should not be challenging you. How about stopping the fucking drama and telling him to stop trying to escape or bondage will no longer feature at all in the relationship?

Yours,

benji

Because I'm more concerned about getting him to subspace than I am about his obedience. Subspace is what triggers obedience in him anyway.

Then we are back to him being a sexual bottom rather than a submissive, and I'm done with the drama.  Have a nice life.

I certainly didn't want to offend anyone. I can see your point since it should be about him pleasing me rather than me pleasing him. I agree that he's more of a sexual bottom than a sub. In fact, I need to quit calling him a sub. Wasn't trying to cause any drama, just wanted some inescapable tie up ideas to please my sexual bottom. My apologies.

You have always seemed more dom than sub to me benji. Always on the attack or being a smartass. Do you use the title sub to hide your dominant nature?

So I should kick his ass instead of improving my tying skills? Apparently he's done the same thing to other mistresses.

Gee and you wonder why he was available? Think I found a big reason. Sammy, topping from the bottom, brat, disrespectful and disobedient little shit. Whatever you label it, most mistresses label it suddenly single.

My sub is always teasing me because I can't keep him tied up. I thought I finally had the perfect plan. During our last session, I tied him spread eagle on my bed face down. I taped his fingers together, put socks over his hands, tied his hands with rope, then put duct tape over the rope. His feet were tied with rope and tape. He was gagged with my thong and 3 pieces of tape. He was also blindfolded with duct tape. I stepped outside for 5 minutes to smoke a cigarette and when I came in, he was sitting on my couch. How can a domme keep a male sub from escaping?

Kick his ass out of your house and tell him not to bother coming back.  Unless he's specifically negotiating for an escape scene, his behavior is rude and disrespectful, up with which you do not have to put.

If you think it's worth wasting your time and energy on this guy, tell him that he must buy extreme and inescapable locking metal restraints and bring them to the next session.  It's his problem, not yours, if he likes to play Houdini and you find it annoying.

If you think I'm Dom, it might explain your thinking he's a sub.

Being funny, critical, and intelligent would make me Dom, being a smartass just means I aint your sub, bless the Lord.

benji

Hell, Benji's the perfect sub.  He'll even let his Mistress put his testicles in a blender and flip a coin to decide whether she turns it on or not.

Only if I get to provide the coin.  I have a great double-sided one...

No way I'm gonna skip out on that kind of pain!

look up the following and have him purchase what you find appropriate. Personally I wouldn't waste my own money on someone that gets off on disobedience.

Armbinders, Humbler (if his brains are in his dick tying his obedience to that might help), posture collars, spreader bars.

Quality is going to be an issue. Good quality is expensive or you're going to have to be more creative. Things like spreader bars can be created from home depot parts.

The reality is I'm not sure which is more futile, repeatedly using rope bondage when you know it won't work or pulling out the big guns and putting a stop to it.

LOL Benji could probably be convinced to flip the switch himself.
