Be My Injun

The injuns tied John Wayne spread eagle
And insulted him before they put hot embers
In his hand and then they tried to make casinos legal
(Hey, rhyme with eagle before you judge these words!)

There ain’t hardly no wild injuns anymore
I lack a way to prove how much you mean
And to prove my love is equal to loves of yore.
Even if to some observers you seem mean

Remember I need you to be my injun.
The things you do are the biggest favor
A man can ask; and I’ll ask it again.
I need you so I can prove myself braver.

To a good man the thing that is worse: he
Benefits from your greater mercy.

Arthurian knights are on my mind of late
(“Chevalier” is the root of “chivalry”.)
Contesting evil beasts he’d demostrate
For his Lady’s love he was actusally worthy

I don’t have strange, evil dragons to slay,
Nor hideous ogres to defeat,
Nor do many trolls accost me today
Literally, I lack monsters to beat.

“To struggle though my arms are too weary”
I must have something to struggle against.
(Oh, lest raise a brow suspiciouly
I use “favor” in an older sense

As a scarf or something to remind him.)
I need a favor to move the struggle within.

Balin of the two swords was a goof knight
When the Lady of the Lake asked for his head
It seemed a tad harsh, but in flight
Balin wounded the Fisher King; Camelot was dead.

The young Arthur just did not know it yet
Camelot’s ending was the quest for the Holy Grail
It took the best, killed the pretty good and let
Mordered split the rest and assail

His half brother and illegitimate daddy
While Gwain justly accused Lancelot
Of Gaheris’ murder (No armor had he
When du Lake stopped the law in Camelot.)

All because The Lady asked for his head
And, warned by Arthur, Balin fled.

Do you mean "injun"? Those were not Indians but Hollywood's stereotype of them. "Injun" seems good for lack of another word.

Does jumping off the biased use
of words bridge following hollywood
make the jumping allright now? Or
