Ok i went shopping with a friend today and we decided to walk into town. There are several main roads to cross and i did my usual wait for a gap and cross tricks along with ignoring the red man and crossing anyway.
My friend says i need 'new training' to cross roads and i guess hes probably right. Obviously my dad taught me to cross a road and hes a darter too who ignores oncoming traffic.
My question is what basic in life do you think you need 'training' in?

Mingling.  I have no idea how people manage to chit chat new people at parties and actually seem to ENJOY it.

I need to start thinking of myself and not always of others.  I will work 36 hours straight so a part-time co-worker can have a day off, change my plans so that my partner can go out with his friends and other things like that.  I need to start thinking about and taking care of myself before others.

Socializing in a face-to-face context, interpreting body language, not being ruled by my emotions, and having the confidence to actually say more than a small percentage of what I think or feel about a situation.

I have issues.

Letting others finish a thought.
I'm getting better at it, but when I was younger, I knew the thought someone was expressing before they could get it out .... and finished for them so that the conversation would move along.  I was seldom incorrect.

hidding what i feel about almost everybody, At first sight you know if i like you but you also know when i Dislike/hate or dont give a fook about You.

It has been like that since i'm a newborn.

When i came to this world, the first thing i did was looking at the nurse who took care of me (just leaving my mother belly) screw up my eyes and pee on the floor.
Every time this poor nurse was taking care of me i was crying like i was in pain. If she still alive she MUST remember of me.

Not procrastinating, getting up and staying motivated for class, how to not be a slacker, and how to say "no" or "I can't" to people when they ask me to take on projects and responsibilities.

I let myself get swamped and too busy, then don't want to work on any of it and put it off until the last second
