Things I wish had been invented by now:-
1. Automatic sliding doors for homes, the technology exists in supermarket form it just requires some reverse engineering I tell ya.
2. Triangular pizzas, don’t tell me to cut a square one in half because I want the crust to go all the way around.
3. Free soap dispensers for the homeless: you place your palm on a plate and it conducts a chemical analysis, if urea is detected it dispenses a free bar of soap. This will stop free loaders from acquiring free soap.
4. Anti Japanese tourist device: when a cluster of AF signals are detected the device summons a swarm of killer robotic pigeons. It’s only a matter of time before someone starts work on this one.
5. Flying cars: believe it or not the technology exists for this already. All we need is powerful magnets to be built into the highway system and an opposing magnet on the underside of cars. It’s not my fault if your fillings cause you to start kissing the road, you didn’t follow the apple a day rule.
6. Mobile phones that can detect alien life forms and ‘power signatures’: Some people have called these things ‘Try Quarters’ this name relates to the historical use of mobile phones to ring around and ‘Try’ to locate ‘Hotels’ which in old earth dialect is the name of a refuge. Opps was forgetting for a second there I wasn’t in the future yet.
7. Cameras that can see through clothes: It’s about time these things were invented for ahem law enforcement and it would also be of great use to medical practitioners in Pre Treatment Analysis (PTA). Make up an abbreviation and someone will shove it into common usage sooner or later I say.
8. Anti Mosquito Battery: I’m thinking it tracks that high pitched whining noise and shoots it down with miniature bullets. It also has Anti Wife (AW) and Anti Mother in Law (AMIL) applications.
9. Energy saving light bulbs that you can use in places other than just your hallway and stair landing.
10. Christmas cards that self destruct twenty seconds after opening them.
Ok that list got a bit silly towards the end due to cantbebothereditus so please tell me what you wish had been invented.
