I just wanted to thank everyone who replied to this thread, and let you all know I really appreciated the helpful advice.
With the assistance of Neosporin and Oragel, in addition to keeping the wound very clean and my Dom checking it regularly for me(I couldn't see it, hehe), I healed without infection in about five days, and am now right as rain. I was in a bit of a tizzy over what to do at first, but I'm glad you guys had some practical advice for me that worked well. I really do give you all my sincere thanks.
