Doth thou hear that droning beat?
Echoed base with rhythm fleet.
Entombed within a marbled fare;
With eyes of old and steadfast stare.

Doth thou heed that rhythm’s call?
To feed thy fire and speed thy fall;
To quicken thee along my path,
Destined for my passion’s wrath.

Doth thou feel thine own so change?
To beat in sync with one so strange.
To know a heat beyond thy skin;
To be swept away and carried in.

Doth thou see the darkness fade?
Oblivion emerged thy soul dost wade.
A cherished place beyond thy mind;
Consumed within the love thou finds.

Doth thou know our two beats joined?
Entwined at mind, heart and loin.
Heed now my Master’s heart,
And trust that hence, we shall never part.

Thank you for your kind words.

It's kind of amazing, I haven't written for nearly a decade... since my last 'Great Love'... and loss. But suddenly, finding this community, has relit my poetic fire. It feels... good; something I haven't been able to say for a while now.

Keep writing, your words are woven with enchantment. I had lost my creative mind for about 15 years, and it has just started to return with a vengence, and it excites me to "feel" again through my writings, and my heart. Keep writing and don't ever stop
