In downtown Indianapolis they have a War Memorial, around the Memorial is a circular road simply called "The Circle." Though they have new laws on the books that prohibit parking upon The Circle, they have never removed the law stating that if a horseless carriage is parked upon The Circle it must be tied to a hitching post. So Technically, if someone were to build a hitching post in front of one of the buildings and tied their car to it they could not get a ticket for parking on the circle because they were obeying the PARKING LAW that was older than the current law and is STILL on the records as an ACTIVE law.

I drove into a small town at dusk in the big truck. I started bitching about the poor lighting in this town. My ex-husband was in the passenger seat talking with me. We were halfway through town when he decided to point out that I still had my sunglasses on!
