Question about professional domination services:

I want to have a session with a professional mistress in Melbourne and I concern about safety issues. Basically I do not have any experience with professional mistresses and will appreciate any help about it. Please let me know how can I be sure about health and safety issues and what I check or ask about their service.

Any comment or help appreciated.

If you don't already have an idea of what you would like to experience in a session, a fairly candid overview of the plethora of sessions a pro dom could provide to inspire some ideas can be found here http://salonkittys.com/bdsm/services/  check out 'sessions' in the box.  Do keep in mind though Salon Kittys is a longtime dedicated establishment in Sydney specialising in domination and fantasy and a Melbourne based 'professional Mistress' may not be able to provide the same level of equipment/play space or the array of services unless something like SK exists there.   Being on this side of the ditch I'm not sure of what pro doms are operating in Melbourne but if you do find a reputable place, be a doll and pass on the info to this kink starved Kiwi ...

When you do find some info on Melbourne pro doms and choose one or two for consideration, you are well within your rights to ask if you can meet with or view someone's premesis prior to play.  Often this can be done a a day or so before, or the same day, with an option to play after the initial meet if you are comfortable with the Mistress in question and her play space, and that she is want to play with you.

Ask if she has any special requirements when booking a session, ie does she require a deposit to confirm/book a session, or need a number of days notice, etc., and what her standard session fees are and if there is a further fee for accommodating things like watersports, use of strap-ons, enemas, etc.in your scene (if they're something you want to include).  Then give her an idea of what it is you would like to experience.  Don't be afraid to ask her what her experience is, particularly if what you want to experience is specialised in anyway ... say crossdressing and what clothing is available, etc and will/are you able to provide your own... or rope bondage, mummification, etc.  All this can be done on the phone and an inital meet & greet may not be necessary prior to booking a session if you feel confident to proceed with her.

Beware that some will command a fee for the 'interview' process, or 'initial meet & greet', $50 maybe $60, which is hers to keep.  Some will be happy to accommodate an initial meet & greet without the fee but for those who do require it, consider it a consultation fee and if the Mistress does not desire one, think nice and consider turning up with flowers or a bottle of wine, or something, even if all it is, is a handful of wildflowers you snaffled from the roadside.

An experienced Domina will have her own style and know what works for her in her own dungeon.

Health and safety are kind of relative to the circumstance and situation.  We'd hope someone offering professional services, would consider the 'professional' component would include integrity and would employ gloves, condoms, etc for penetration of the subservient with hands or toys, mm sometimes that can be quite the scene in itself, a nice wee inspection, mouth, cock & balls, arse ...mm yum yum ... I digress ... and safety ... nothing is 100% safe, minimising risk ... which starts before you make that first call ... do some homework, find out about the professional Mistresses in Melbourne, contact a local fetish club or BDSM group to see if they can recommend anyone...

Also, consider not putting all your eggs in one basket, and seeking a mild rather than wild encounter first time out with an unknown pro dom, testing the water so to speak.   Unless someone is fairly seasoned and confident in what they can handle first time up, and the Mistress can confidently play within his wants/needs and abilities due to her own experience, in initial sessions with someone new, for me, I let the sub set the pace and scope.  If in the session it becomes apparent they can handle more than I bargained for (mm which so gets the beast within me stirring, yum yum) and I have room to run with it, I'll happily explore this unexpected turn of events.

It's late here and I need to snooze, so will end this now, but hope something in my post goes some way to helping you in your quest.

Thank Jasmyn   It was really help full and I should say thanks for your comprehensive answer, valuable time and your kindness for answering my question so much in detail.

Do you know any fetish or bdsm group in Melbourne or some website that I can find about these groups?
