WOW! Thanks to you all for your well wishes. This was a very low-key, non-descript birthday for me. Your thoughts and these posts have been some of the high-lights. Getting them NOW (as opposed to on my birthday) has been a wonderful way to prolong my birthday and I thank you all for them. I got home last night, but feel more like I've come home as I read your gracious thoughts.

Erin - You are welcome to and have first dibs on my spanks. I've saved them for you!

Jules - Darling Jules! How incredibly kind, thoughtful and flattering of you to come out of your sequestering time for me. Save those licks, luv. When we do finally get to meet I'm going to take you up on them. And for the record - I admire a woman who does what she says. You are missed here.

Chris (onceburned) - I haven't yet had time to peruse the threads I missed. Your post suggests I may be better off to skip it. I'm sorry things were weird here and hope that they have leveled off. Be that as it may, it was wonderful of you to schlep through it all to post your regards. Thank you.

Roe - I'm afraid there were no sadistic times to be had on my birthday (unless you include the actuality of me helping my father relocate from florida to NY, in which case you might say it was the movers that got my sadistic stuff in!) I'm hoping I can soon make up for the lost time!

Proud - No naughtiness, I was with my Dad (although I do derive a strange kind of pleasure from tormenting him about getting old in a father/daughter kind of way). I'm looking forward to the next month, which I intend to take off and use for down time. Perhaps I'll be naughty during that time. ;)

Happy Pervert - a Kazoo? That's a first for me! Gotta recording of it? <smile>

Dixiedumpling - Stress free?!? I wish, but then what move is stress free? Fortunately it was my dad who moved. Now I only need to get over it! hahahaha

Clay - Black & blue? Be careful what you wish for.

Taggard - I should have known you'd be the first with the long term plans. hahahaha I'm looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Joshua - Give me a few days to get settled in and then I think we should firm up some plans for that scotch. I do hope you're available!

(I actually said "Happy Birthday" to MizSuz before anyone else {and I have the signed notary docs to prove it}, and I'd like to here and now, before anyone else says it, say "HAPPY FREAKIN BIRTHDAY MIZSUZ!!!!!" for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020.....).

Okay...I'm running out of breath now...

(And by the way...if anyone tells you they love you more than I do....well, they're just lying dammit).

You know, two exquisitely matched black pearls, with a luster so deep they seem sometimes purple and sometimes blue, was a very elegant understatement.

Quite attractive in it's simplicity, really and so very well done.

Single strands of 8mm, well matched, pastel colored South Seas pearls are also very nice understatements.

But I bet you already knew that.
