3 A.M.
After a long days work is done,
she greets the moon
bids adieu to the sun.

As her sleep pattern
reaches R.E.M.,
she meets her Master
at 3 A.M.

There in slumbers sweet repose,
He pulls at her hair
as she curls His toes.

His travels take Him
far away,
but their meetings happen
everyday.

He knows where to find her,
as she does Him,
each night in their dreams
at 3 A.M.
