Since i am in the public eye every day, my Sir and i are looking for more of a jewelry type collar for lifetime wear. About a year ago i had found some sites that had beautiful jewelry collars but i can't seem to find it now. i have been to all the standard bdsm sites for collars, if anyone has any ideas..please send them on to me.  casey

My public collar is a Brighton necklace that Master chose for me.  I also have a collar i wear at other functions that are lifestyle events.  I love both of them and while many have said that the original collar is nice they think it would be noticed too much in public.  I wore it in public recently for a week and only once was it referred to as a collar.  I did get a few winks as did Master tho.  Most people just refer to it as an unusual necklace.  In any event it is not as vanilla as it would need to be for me to wear it professionally.

Well, i have many play collars..daywear leathers, etc..but we are looking for just the right piece of jewelry that..as He says..i could wear to church*smiles*. i also have a neckwire with the bdsm symbol dangling from it, all of which i can wear most places i go, but still, this will be more a lasting symbol between He and i, so, i have spent hours and hours already chasing down sites. i wear gold and am looking for something simple with possibly sapphires inlaid in it.

Can you clarify what you mean when you say Lifetime?
Do you mean permenant, and non removeable?

Yes, He wants me to wear a nice piece of jewelry, of my choice that i can wear everyday. It doesnt necessarily need to be a screw down since we are looking for more jewelry than solid ring. i can always wear one of my many collars in addition to this piece of jewelry. i have a love of gold and sapphires so that is what i am looking for in a choker form, something that will hold up. Does that help clarify?  casey

For gold and precious gems, go to a jewelry store. If they don't have what you want, they will have catalogs they can order it from.

If it is something that keeps you thinkg about Him all day and is not required to be seen by anyone else...there is always clit piercing or labia piercings and locks..to show a complete devotion to His ownership

Fast reply!

Not sure if it's your taste, but Cartier's "Love" collection is pretty nifty. The flagship piece is an elegant, locking bracelet. I think it would make a very nice "alternative" kind of collar. :D Better yet, I'm sure there are plenty of quality knockoffs to choose from, if you don't like their particular version, or want a good quality piece without the needless brand markup.

www.cartier.com
hit "jewelry," then "collections"
...and then choose "love" :)

The Cartier Love is an awesome idea. If anyone has any links to some reasonably priced knockoffs I'd love to see them.

Does anyone know of permanant cuffs for the wrist and ankle.  Something that could be worn discreetly under loose clothing, but could serve as a permanant reminder of an upcoming hogtie or such for the slavegirl?

We have a collar from this place and highly recommend it. You can see photos of it on http://beachmystress.femdommesociety.com/dommephotoalbum.php I just moved five photos to the top of the page. The first two show his collar in daily wear situations. The third photo was taken to show his collar and first cuff together. The last two just show the cuff up close while not worn and the clasp of the collar. The collar looks like jewelry because it IS jewelry. It is made from chain you choose http://www.firescale.com/silver-chains.pdf (we went for the regular curb chain with snake eye screws) and the special clasp made by the seller. The rings attaching the clasp are welded shut, so removing the collar without the tool means breaking it.

And yes, a few people have commented upon the clasp. He has been instructed to tell people that it is either a special clasp so he doesn't lose it or that it was a gift from me and a symbol of love. It is up to him which to offer to whom.

His "formal" collar will be when he has earned all four cuffs to go with the collar. He earns a new one every year on our collaring anniversary. He gets his next cuff in May. Which reminds me.. I need to be getting that ordered!

Eternity Collars

While Eternity collars are hot, they are not what I would call discrete. I seriously considered one, but a male friend who wears one is constantly fielding questions as to just what that thing is around his neck. I was looking for a photo I have of him that shows how noticeable the collar is, but I seem to have lost it in a computer crash. (Oh well.. I didn't want to spend time editing a smiley face onto a photo anyways.. sigh.) They are too thick to go with most female formal wear.

This site has some good looking discreet collars http://www.daycollar.com/ but if you want something metal that's simple and discreet you could get a bracelet like that used by people who have a medical condition.  They can be removed if needed or be left on even in the shower and are so commonplace that no one is likely to think it odd that you have one.  Instead of medical info. you could get a symbol that represents your slave status engraved into the metal.  Just a thought of course, but they are fairly inexpensive, discreet, and it probably wouldn't cost much to have the engraving done either.

A lot of jewelers will make special orders. A suggestion would be for you and Him to sit down together and design something then have it made.

I know you've had tons of responses and I am a bit late in replying, but I do a variety of braided leather public collars at http://www.bearsleather.com.

Best of luck in finding the right one.
