The children in my family are all religious, very good kids with good foundational values. I am not going to bombard them with my lifestyle simply because I choose to live that way. Should it ever come up (but doubt it will), sure. Otherwise, it would be unfair of me in my view to do so.
One of my subs under consideration has a child, as far as he'll be concerned if it ever comes to that, we would be a normal, vanilla couple. I don't do poly or stables for this specific reason, I'm traditionally monogamous but I would have a secondary sub as a "domestic" 24/7 tpe, and if I can work around the family time schedules, it would be quintessential.
I have successfully lived discreetly within the lifestyle for 14 years, I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Nor do I think letting children know or not know would necessarily be detrimental to their development.
If you raise your child well, they will love and accept everyone, and embrace diversity in people.
