Hang on a second, could you just think for a moment, my profile says newbie , it did say curious, people can say what they like about it I dont mind. I myself dont wish to discuss my personal profile but and this is the huge difference people can say what they like about my profile if they like and NO im not going to stop people browsing my profile, for one thing its impractical how could I , I would effectively have to control the Internet which is not possible,so please, you have the right too to not want to discuss your profile, but that does not mean you can stop people talking about you just as i cant put a block on people talking about me, I hope that clears things up and NO i am not one of these extremists who will take people to court or send out a vigilante gang after people who browse my profile so please do not think that I am full of hate, maybe religious but not full of hate.  The two to me are oxymorons, they are just complete contradictions, i am a normal person who happens to believe in God, i m not forcing anyone to accept my beliefs and im not a religious fundamentalist so please do not label me as such.

appearances can be deceptive i think weve learned a lot about each other over the last few days and the no one thing we've learned is that everyone is human and no one is as manipulative, or in my case religiously fanatical and full of hatred, ive been given this label by some Dommes with agendas here, not you with respect, and my full apologies are in order,  i was out of line and im sorry if I offended you but thats as far as it goes, i do not seek attention or publicity

No offense.  Amusement, some.

I feel that all of us should help educate folks who are new to BDSM about safety and sanity, and I generally try to aim efforts in that direction.  But sometimes I despair a little because common sense really doesn't seem to be all that common, and you run across people who seem to believe some amazingly stupid and potentially harmful things.  So rather than get too annoyed or frustrated, I have a little fun and sometimes I try to help folks by assuming the role of a Trickster.  Coyote teaches valuable lessons.  See Yoda's example.

Er, of course I mean I AM TEH DOMINATE FEMALE.  U MUST BOW DOWN 2 ME RITE NOW SLAV BOY.  & SEND ME ALL UR MONEYS.  BECAUSE SLAV BOYS HAVE NO RITES & R NOT ALLOWID 2 OWN PROPURTY.  R ELSE THEY R NOT REEL SLAVES.  U WILL BE COLLARID & BRANDID.  ON TEH FORE HEAD.  B4 W/we MEET.  THAT IS THE ANSIENT SEKRIT TRADISHION OF MY 100 YR OLD REEL VICTORIAN SLAVE HOUSEHOLD.  IF U NOT BELIEVE ME THEN U R NOT REEL SUBMISIVE.  U SUBMITE NOW.  ALL OF YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US.

Is that better?  Am I being a Real Domme (TM) now?  [:D]

i was referring to BlkTallFullfig, I am glad that you list Christianity as one of the things you live for and respect you enormously as a person for that. However my profile is my own personal business and i do not wish to divulge. I would be extremely grateful if you did respect that
God bless you  and your family

I havent read all the posts since yesterday...but I meant to comment on the statement in bold letters in the above quote...Maybe I'm wrong but a profile is public and anything you write others can see...If you dont wish to divulge information(whatever that may be) then why do you have one?A profile I mean.

There are some who think because they say so, you should submit.  As a submissive, you still have rights, at least under my definition.  My definition is that a sub submits to the scene, for a specified length of time.  If at some point you give yourself as a slave, then all bets are off.

As always, your mileage may vary.

Recently I messaged a domme who i had never spoke to before and told her a litttle about me. She immediately had me download yahoo messenger and I did as she asked.  Am I at that point supposed to do everything she says simply because I am a sub and she is a domme? Do I not have the right to submit to whom I wish? Respectful at all times, absolutely, but does a domme expect a sub to do as she says simply because we are engaged in a conversation? Please help, I hope I am not wrong in this case. She was angry with me immediately for not doing as she said, but I don't feel I obligated myself to her.

LadyOunce -> RE: Being a submissive, do we have any rights? (1/26/2007 12:27:05 PM)

Just because one is a sub, doesn't mean that you are everyone's sub. This attitude is what gives a bad rep to us all. Respect, which should be expected, and subservience are not the same thing.

I would not go to a munch, or an event, and expect someone else's sub to bow to me because I'm dominant. Nor would I expect every seeking submissive to hop to and do my bidding because I give them a meaningful look.

You have a right to say, respectfully, that you don't think this situation is the one you are seeking and then block, block, block.
