ORIGINAL: pahunkboy the bus stop at 63rd and Harlem. ;-0 no joke. 7 yrs,. i used to hang around there ...long ago. IHoP restaurant Thats where the CTA met the RTA,. city bus met the suburban bus. The Southwest side had terrible mass transit. teh only side without an "L". one side on Harlem - Summit and the other side - Chicago when are you coming back? ill only come back as a visitor. life in Chicago is too fast paced for me. I had teh best and the worst years out there. I have 2 siblings out in Orland Park. i usually get out there 1 a year. mom and i attempted to go when my nephew was born a few months ago. but my back was so bad we turned around and came back. i used to hate the bus line there. it was a good 2 hour commute to downtown. i still have dreams about 111th street and Harlem. i left in 1988. consider this- there is only one place that smells like "Stickney", the one visit that stench was fixated over Palos area. yikes. :-D
