When The Runaways signed their record deal in the mid-1970's, they were labeled "Jailbait Rock" because their average age was only 16.

They had a few minor hits and were a strong influence on the Riot Grrl movement. Vocalist Micki Steele went on to the Bangles.

Lita Ford became a heavy metal pin-up girl (and was bandleader on Howie Mandel's now-forgotten TV talk show).

Joan Jett had many top-40 hits in a long career that culminated with her appearance in an elementary school parking lot less than a block from Kevin Guilfoile's house at the 1999 "Taste of La Grange."

What did bassist Jackie Fox go on to do?

Wasn't she the one who joined the Bangles? Or was that the fourth member of The Runaways?

Correct.
You heard her sing in the 1977 Meat Loaf hit "Paradise By the Dashboard Light," (which is, incidentally, the second most beloved song ever about date rape, behind only Johnny Mercer's "Baby, It's Cold Outside"). You saw her act in what 1980's television show?

She appeared on the dating game and was also in the film edgeplay about the runaways.

Couldnt find an 80's show she would have acted in though.

Ellen Foley played the blonde attorney in the first couple seasons of "Night Court" starring Harry Anderson and John Larroquette (and a few other great talents).  Markie Post came in to play the blonde attorney later on.

(And sang the "Stop Right There!" part we all love to do drunk and standing on a table)

BTW, "Paradise" wasn't about date rape.  She just held out until he went crazy and "started swearing to my God and on my mother's grave that I would love you till the end of time, I swore I'd love you till the end of time!"  I believe she consented after that.

Yes it was just a matter of wills and consent...nothing involved rape at all.

In 1985, who pitched Steven Spielberg a film idea in which Oscar Wilde travels to Texas in the 1890's and discovers (among other things, we imagine) Rock and Roll?
