Since I decided to go with facts instead of vague impressions, I had to go do some research on the site before I posted, it was interesting enough for me to think on it some.
Doing a quick scan through of a few hundred of the most recent visits from Male/female Doms/subs, it seems the single group most likely to post a picture is the male Doms, for some reason male subs are highly unlikely to post a pic, males versus females seems to be a dead heat, females did have a few more pics posted over the sample size but a couple of extra pictures of a few hundred samples is within the margin of error. Strangely amoung females, the Dominants are the least likely group to have a picture posted.
Perhaps there is a subconcious effect going, when we are withing what is considered to be our "natural" role, we are willing to be seen, and we are ashamed to be seen when we are outside of what we feel is accepted.
Overall, even with the Dom/sub differences, it still was not a huge shift, male Doms being three times more likely than male subs to post a pic, and female subs being 30% more likely than female Doms. The spread is wider in males than females, since in the samples I checked, male Doms posted pics 75% of the time. Overall about 40% of the sample had pics posted.
Was an interesting excercise and I am sure it would shift somewhat if I took a bigger sample size and was willing to devote more than 20 minutes to it...
