Why is smoking and inflicting your smoke on others an act of liberty whereas asking for a smoke free enviroment is an act of oppression? Z.

the smoke can permeate thru a heating/vent system. my complaint is diesle fumes. we have done nothing to clean up that foul air!

well it'll be official on 1 Jan 2008, IL will be a smoke-free state. this law supercedes the one Chicago passed about a year ago in which all restuarants/bars/venues have to be smoke free. even if those places that have installed new or updated their ventilation systems, the law does not exempt them. welcome to IL everyone
