Why is smoking and inflicting your smoke on others an act of liberty whereas asking for a smoke free enviroment is an act of oppression?

the smoke can permeate thru a heating/vent system.

my complaint is diesle fumes. we have done nothing to clean up that foul air!

Actually there`s good news about diesel.A supper low-sulfur diesel is starting to be used.New diesel engines will run much, much cleaner, and reduce the particulate matter by 85-95 % and more.

My question,if we make cars and trucks pollution free, how will smokers justify piosoning the air.

well it'll be official on 1 Jan 2008, IL will be a smoke-free state.

this law supercedes the one Chicago passed about a year ago in which all restuarants/bars/venues have to be smoke free. even if those places that have installed new or updated their ventilation systems, the law does not exempt them.

welcome to IL everyone
