First I'm sorry that this terrible event in your past has left such a disease in your body.
Second, I think that disease (any disease) is a matter of the individual and their own risks and illnesses. If sex is important to you then the type of sex may increase or decrease risks of transmission. If sex isn't important to you then I don't see much of a problem.
That's the way with any disease though and certainly the case with all physically issues and many mental issues.
I think you being up front about this will only increase your chances of finding a good match. It wil take time, it always takes time. How exactly are you searching for a mistress, if I may ask? How we search and where we search plays a huge role in our success of finding partners.
