Just read about this. Seems justice was served here. And she said it herself, that she lost a career, by what she did. Surprised, though, that she felt she was not racist or prejudice, after saying what she did.

Incidentally, I dont feel it was racism per se that motivated JG in this instance. I feel it was rather, plain and simple jealousy, which was expressed in a way that made use of the most distinguishing feature of the lady she envied - her ethnicity.

Have to agree with you here. I don't for a minute think she was racist. Jealous yes and out of her depth with someone like Shilpa. Of course the producers have a lot to do with what went on too. You do not get to see everything that goes on no matter what they tell you. The programme is still edited and the content controlled by the producers and broadcaster.

A telling sign was the comment made by C4 that the race row saved the programme this time from being a very boring one!
