MasterzKitten -> Question reversed (3/2/2005 5:42:18 AM)

A similar question was asked in the Ask a submissive/slave section, so i thought i'd turn it around and ask the Dom/mes:

*What does a Master/Mistress really look for in a submissive? Aside from the basics (trust, obedience, honesty, etc) What little small things do You want and look for?

*What qualities would Your 'perfect' submissive posses?

MsCameron -> RE: Question reversed (3/2/2005 5:55:37 AM)

never mind.. need some sleep before I post to anything

MrThorns -> RE: Question reversed (3/2/2005 7:48:45 AM)

What do I look for in the "perfect slave"? Hmmmmz....

Honesty, integrity, self discipline, humor, void of drama, intelligence, ability to communicate, a sense of selflessness with a sense of selfishness, wisdom, a sex drive that would exhaust a rabbit, selectively slutty, common sense, a good sense of self, independent, strong, good natured, has a respectable pain threshold, and values Evil.

The wonderful thing is... that my slave posesses these traits and I don't think I have ever been a happier man.

TallDarkAndWitty -> RE: Question reversed (3/2/2005 8:10:26 AM)

Hmmm...

1) A complete and uncontrollable desire to be owned.
2) An appreciation of service for its own sake.
3) A sense of humor about life and its cruel ironies.
4) A sharp and strong mind.

Everything else is just icing...

Taggard

Alexander -> RE: Question reversed (3/2/2005 9:28:13 AM)

Its very hard to improve on Taggards list for me. Everything feels like qualifications to the ideal. I include the ownership of a girls love. It's either going to sound over sentimental or clinical so here goes.

5.) The desire to cleave ones heart open and offer it up accepting that life is a pageant of chances and choices and every one of them contains a sparkle of the sublime.

Hello
I've waited here for you
Everlong

Tonight
I throw myself into
And out of the red, out of her head she sang

Come down
And waste away with me
Down with me

Slow how
You wanted it to be
I'm over my head, out of her head she sang

Breathe out
So I could breathe you in
Hold you in

And now
I know you've always been
Out of your head, out of my head I sang

I only looked for one thing - REALISM.

EmeraldSlave2 -> RE: Question reversed (3/2/2005 9:39:54 AM)

Yeah but there's a lot of real psychos out there.

I stumbled upon my "perfect submissive" quite by accident. I wanted a subbie whose first motivation was pride in her service. I discovered that dedication to duty is a quality that, for me, is absolutely invaluable in a submissive.
It's not a romantic thing, by any stretch, but I might never have recognized how much it means to me had I not seen my girl display it. It's subtly different from the desire to please. Many may desire to please but my girl is determined to excel at every little mundane task that comprises her service to me. I can't truly describe just how valuable I find that mindset to be or how incredibly proud she makes me.

Knowing that up front was a part of the realism. All I wanted was for someone to show up and represent themselves as they really were. Ideally I was looking for someone who was first and foremost honest to themselves, who knew who they were, who took the time to evaluate themselves and knew what they were seeking. I didn't want someone who was putting on a performance assuming my expectations. Because after the meeting, if we did interest each other to the point of trying to establish a relationship I didn't want this person to morph into someone else, requiring the whole process to begin again.

Experience in the lifestyle, looks, age, were not part of the equation at all.

Thank You all very much for all of Your responses [:)]

FangsNfeet -> RE: Question reversed (3/2/2005 7:37:21 PM)

I like a submissive who can think on there own. They may need me for a little discipline here ane there but they shouldn't need me for every single discission in telling them what to do. I like health, exersise, and creativity.
I also like the idea of them reading body language. Just by looking at me they know if I need to be left alone, in the mood for sex, if something is wrong, or if it's been a great day and not have to wait for me to say something. And I like my submissives to want to better themselves physically and education wise.

And yes the old saying is true. The way to my heart is through my stomach. [:D] As far as physical qualities go:

In females I perfer haveing atleast sholder length hair, something I can grab, and some cushin for the pushin.

Guys: Either the thin young boyish look or the musculer buffed type.

Other than that we just need to click and have good chemestry. And because of bad experiences I no longer date ppl with mental illnesses and take mental/psychological medication.

If all this makes me to picky, oh well I think you can make it without me.

But those are the basics.

Ah art humor....

(Wouldn't a cubist-ish submissive end up with her nose where her eyes are supposed to be and visa versa? Terribly confusing as to where to place the gag, blindfold, etc...)

Thinking about it, I'm a fan of the primitive naive genre of Henri Rousseau or Bombois, or perhaps Alfred Wallis of England. It appeals to me on an esthetic level, modernistic without the ambivalence of Picasso's later works.

Myself, I'm partial to pointillism...

Although I appreciate your aesthetic perogative as essential in the overall appreciation of the necessity for a certain "flow" and beauty that would enhance ones domicile and surroundings - (Not to mention the potentially stereotypical flat head for beer placement)..... Something no one else has yet broached is her acuity of performance....

I mean -

Can she suck a golf ball through a garden hose?
