i can assure anyone who reads this that im not lazy, i just dont have the information at hand or close by. Isn't there a National Safe Call line one can register with? or some variation?

I can't say that I have heard of any kind of national safecall system. I'm not sure how one would work either. How would your safe person have your exact location all the time? And are they able to convince local law authorities that you are in trouble, and didn't just forget to make your call?

I personally don't have a lot of confidence in safecalls unless your kink involves getting active fast in a private setting with people you don't know well. Even then, I suspect the other person knowing you have a safecall system setup does more for your protection than actually activating your safecall system.

Edited, because my typist quit this week.

I normally don't go anywhere with out a friend and a family member knowing my plans and exact location. They know what to do if and when the don't hear from me when I said I was going to call. So if I ever end up dead by a psycho murderer, I know my death will be avenged so I can beat the hell out of my killer in the after life.

There are several National Safe Call Networks established. You can find them by doing a search. I will not post them here because #1. I can not personally vouch for any of them and #2. I question their effectiveness as most of them are based on an email system and if I were in trouble I would not wish to wait several hours(or days) for someone to check their email to find out. I checked in on the ones that I had bookmarked and out of 7 of them, 4 are completely unavailable, the remaining 3 are email only. They get set up and seem to fall apart rather quickly. I would be leary to rely on one.

I'm truly curious...

Why would you trust your safety to a stranger?

A safe call to someone you don't know, to someone who doesn't live in your local area, or to someone you have only spoken with online or by phone is no safe call. I'm sure that someone has established a national safe call network with good intentions, but if you're honestly concerned with protecting yourself, have a close friend, who knows you well and lives locally, be your safecall.
