IF AND WOULD

If I were gone would you miss Me. Would you regret things not meant to be? If I disappeared would you miss My smile? Think of Me every once in awhile?

Would you regret things left unsaid? Would you worry that I might be dead? Would you miss My touch, miss My voice? Wonder if I left by choice?

If I were gone would you remember? Happy months, like july or december? Would you remember or forget, details like the time when we first met?

Would you miss Me? Would you care? If suddenly I wasn't there? Would you treasure memories just of Me? Wonder why we were not meant to be?

If I were gone would you recall, those times I gave My heart, My all? If YOU were gone, I would miss you. The little things you say and do.

You've touched My heart, my life my soul. To be your friend, My greatest goal. Before separate are forced apart. This is My thank you, from My heart.

It is a good thing that people touch each others lives, and that we usually do remember them even if it is just in our hearts.
