I don't even know exactly how to describe this. Proactive steps to be healthy are paramount, and diet is the key. Of that I am convinced, although I do recognize that many congenital defects exist, and among them are malabsoption problems in the digestive tract.

The discussion with my Mother started with eyesight, why some people need glasses but it was the big can of worms. She has been into it for a while, and I gotta admit, at 65 she looks like 45. But my internet research has been extensive and I am bringing in new stuff.

OK, now if the political police don't jump down my throat, I will say this, first and foremost, we ARE NOT all the same under the skin. That is some stupid shit they teach kids to get them to get along. I will not deal with the Blacks right now, although what I say should apply to them also. I fact let me use an example.

A species does not eat the same food as it's prey. As I am going to describe my hypothesis, I will preface it thusly. When it comes to Blacks, long time ago there were pygmies as well as tribes of seven foot tall warriors. Do you think the same diet would suit both ?

White people too, the different ethnic food got started somehow. Does an Italin need more pasta than a Swede ? Does a Polack (like me) have to have those halubkis once or twice a year ?

I believe that the more complicated the life form, the more varied and diverse nutrients it will need. We are among the most complicated life forms on the planet. To coin a phrase, I believe we need a complicated "mineral signature" in our diet, that is to describe the proper balance of minerals, other nutrients and bulk, fiber, whatever.

I also firmly believe that the required mineral signature is different for people of different ethnicity.

Now I have read this book, the author of which claims that people with different blood types need different diets. Now isn't there a correlation between ethnicity and blood type ? That is as you look back far enough. He described different body types, but doesn't that have something to do with ethnicity as well ? As the politically correct sirens proclaim we are all the same, they ignore many facts. One of which is that after you die they can look at your bones and tell what race you were.

The discussion the other day may have started with eyesight, but it traveled a bit. Why can't some people hear well ? A conganital defect is not all that likely here, they are not deaf. The particular person to which I refer has excellent vision, and is about a year older than me, and I need two pairs of glasses to function. But I can hear. I almost have golden ears, but not quite. I do not have perfect pitch, but I can tune a guitar better than a tining machine.

Some real demographic data would be quite enlightening IMO. Let's say for example, the following questions.

What is you lineage ?
What do you eat ?
How is your vision ?
How is your hearing ?
Gray hair at what age ?

Anything else, like arthritis, roids, ED, skin problems, allergies, all that.

To correlate such data and retian the respondents' privacy would not be easy, we are not just looking for numbers, we are looking for WHO has WHAT problems. What to look for would be for example Orientals who eat a western diet, Swedes who eat mostly pasta, like an Italian diet or any other departures from the traditional diet. I believe that over generations a species, or race becomes adapted to a certain set of conditions, and therefore to a certain diet.

The only real way to get this data would be a mass mailing. A big one. Give people a control number, and let them send in say a dollar if they want the results. Then would come another mass mailing later of course, but the data. The data would be priceless. It is just a matter of implementing it correctly, and using it correctly.

I firmly believe alot could be learned. Any ideas ?
