Well now when I say suitcase I mean for bdsm events, We'd have to be a lot more discrete about the looks of said suitcase when traveling with toys lol. Make sure you know the laws of where you're going in some places dildo's are contraband.

Wooden spoons make in conspicious toys too, just get a nice sturdy one.

Another thing I would consider essential for the toy bag is a mini batery operated fan, it gets mighty dam hot during play. The 26th I sat at a dominant's feet and fanned her with a paper so she could cool off she got so over heated.

I would recomend ear plugs too, to drown out any back ground music that may be getting to be to much noise for you.

Also good for isolation is heavy duty ear phones like at record stores those are pretty heavy sound blockers. definatly gives oneself a depeer sense of being "in your own head"

Iron, I am curious about enmia's an stuff but I doin't want the soap solutions in my bottom also with douching if you're doing it to a woman you run the risk of UTI's frmo bacteria getting into certain tight spots an that kinda play can encurage the growth of yeast infections so a turky baster or just a plain douch bag of water, would iliminate the need for oslutions specially for douching, just water won't harm anything.

Something else that i would like to see in a domme's toybag would be something like a Tens unit or EMS unit to buzz the genitals. Not sure if anyone mentioned one of these and if anyone has any more ideas for something to produce a mild shock please let me know. Nothing like the old jumper cables hooked up to the Sears Diehard like they use in alot of foriegn countries to help someone remember things.

If you visit a chiropractor or any Doctor, ask them to write you a prescription for one. There is a chance your insurance will cover some or all of the cost. I use my TENS unit much more often on myself for my aches than on my sub for sexual pleasue. Personally, I enjoy the vaginal TENS inserts and when I have them, my sub doesn't get near the TENS.. it is MINE. :-D

What it causes is a clenching of the muscles, so yes, sometimes it makes the "kitty" jump. It can feel like anything from a slight tingle to a muscle cramp. The first time I felt it, I called it "ants running over my skin."

Thank you Beach Mystress for your helpful reply. How does your sub react when you use it on him. i have been looking at some of them but wouldnt know what to look for as far as what makes one more expensive than another. When you turn up the 'juice' all the way will it cause some pain to the male genitals? i have a strong desire to feel it and just hope i have the balls to do it so to speak. iron

Because it's considered rude in public play ettiqute and rules oof play spaces to aproach people playing. It's also probably pretty offensive to the girl in question to have people she don't know aproaching her master for genital play. I probably would not be very popular around play places if I just wandered up and said hey yo can I have a go too?

It's poor ettiquet and a good way not to be asked back.

Another good toy bag must have is tons of fresh batteries if you have battery operated toys, It's prolly the best idea to put fresh batteries in them before you go, but you never know what will happenw ith batteries. I had good batteries start loosing juice before. And another good item is a soft fleace throw or something to wrap someone who's hit subpsace in. It's often comforting to the person flying.

The TENS and RIMBA units are not all that powerful. I've had a few subs who felt they were extreme, but personally, I like my medical RSI unit better. It is stronger, by far. The problem is, if you want something stronger than a TENS unit, you're going to pay through the nose for it. You can probably get a TENS for $40 if you can get a Dr to cough up a prescription. Otherwise, you could end up paying the $100 for a RIMBA, which is equivalent to TENS. I have had subs scream when then TENS was turned up. I think it is a desensitization process. I've used a TENS medically for almost 5 years, so I have a lot of tollerance for them. Someone else may feel they are hard core.

One of the nice things about TENS is you can take the play from fun to painful easily and quickly. All but one of the males I've played with have loved the TENS attached to their penis or balls. There is a good chance you'll enjoy them on the surface. Having one insterted is another matter for a male. Some love it, some hate it. In my opinion, if you can only get one attachment, go for the RIMBA electrobullet. http://www.extremerestraints.com/stat/mi850.html I've found I like it better than any of the other attachments. Oh, by the way, don't waste your money on http://www.extremerestraints.com/stat/mi825.html as they almost don't work. I was very disappointed in them.

I really really hate insurance companies, and I consider Kaiser under that since they are a HMO. They aren't in business to help people.. they're fine if you die if it helps the bottom line. If I were you, I'd look into the possibility of malpractice. They should have done something about your back before it got that bad.

Very nice piece of reporting BeachMystress and i thank you very much for your insight to this area of my concern. It sounds like a tens unit would be just what the doctor ordered i guess you might say. Why do they require a prescription i wonder and would you happen to know if you need a permission slip from your doc to purchase one up in Canada?

<< Canadian as well

I bought my TENS unit without any problems from a medical supply store, however, if you have Insurance and you want it partly paid for you will need a Dr's prescription.

To add on to the earlier mentioned sensory depravation play: I keep a cheap Walkman-type (water proof) AM radio and a headset that fits under my blindfold. Set it to between stations and it makes pretty good white noise. Or if you are feeling really mean, make it a cassette player or Ipod with only one song, set to repeat. Maybe you will condition them to respond whenever they hear that song again <grin>.

I also have a bag of old silk ties, (sometimes I get to feeling "traditional" and tying her up with neckties brings back good memories. It also is my choice for introducing a newbie, as they are the least threatening looking of all my toys.

Several lengths of surgical tubing, say 3/8" dia or larger. (From Home Depot, kinks department) when I want her tied up, but able to squirm and struggle and pull against the ropes.

Several of those small 1-use packets of lube. Convent when you don't want to dig out the quart jar of Astroglide. And earlier there was discussion about a turkey baster. I found at a kink-flea market a triple sized hypo that doesn't have a needle tip but rather has several long nozzles. Great for getting lube, "just" where you want it.

Nobody has mentioned padlocks. I really like the feel of my sub being under lock and key, so I found several sets of luggage padlocks, all using the same keys. Be careful about these as I have seen them for $3 each up to $10 each. And I am phasing them out as I found some other luggage locks that are a bit more expensive, but they are combination locks, so they do away with finding the keys.

Another really cheap toy that has aroused laughter as much as other types of arousal are those disposable $6 each motorized toothbrushes. The base makes a great little vibrator, and if you use the bristle end, OUCH!

Play well with your friends!
