quick question i bought an enema from this lady in an alternative health shop there was no instructions and she said she would post them to me I havent got time for that and have 3 questions i hope someone will be kind enough to answer it may be relevant to add i bought it for health reasons nothing sexual:
1)do you have to hold the water for a certain amount of time to make the enema effective I cant hold it long and find i am just expelling the water .
2) Does the amount of water you use have any bearing on the effectiveness of the enema and for a total newbie how much should you use.
3) what is the most effective way to use it and I would greatly appreciate any tips on the best ways and what i shouldnt do, i know no alchohol from reading the board!!

what I want from the enema is that empty light feeling and a flat tummy not bloated.

You bought an enema or a kit? The bag and accessories? You can google some good sites for health, use "colonic" for your search word. A reasonable site for info and equipment is here

1) Stay on the toilet if you are having trouble retaining. You don't "have" to hold it any set period of time, just do what is comfortable for you.
There are such things as retention nozzles which will help you retain, if you have an interest in that.

2-3) There are recipes lots of places on the net. The most basic would be 1 to 2 quarts of water, slightly warm, with a teaspoon of sea salt added per quart.

its a kit it has everything the tube the bag and two attachments one is long one is short the instructions are foreign I had a look in google but nothing came up about the different ways to use it.
