Let's share stories of writing or non-permanent artwork on the skin as a fetish (since we've nicely derailed another thread with it). If you have this fetish, you MUST watch a movie called "The Pillow Book." It's not a movie based on the book by the same title, but it does have that as a component. Plus you get to see Ewan McGregor totally naked (but with hair...blagh). There's also pretty nudes of the female lead, too...and she's quite lovely. The film is a foreign film (captioned for some of it) about a Japanese women who has a fetish for writing on the skin...only it's calligraphy (Kanji), of course. I will point out that even with washable markers, the red and purple sometimes take a couple days to wash off. So if your bottom has ooooh say an important meeting to go the next day, best NOT to draw purple and red flowers on his face cheeks. Um. Not that I'd know anything about that [sm=ofcourse.gif] In particular, I like writing backwards, so that when the sub eventually looks at themselves in the mirror (which they eventually do), they can read it. One sub in particular got a bit freaked out by it (there were several of us writing on her during a round robin type scene) - she said she thought "what sick fuck wrote backwards so I could read it??" LOL

I would not call what he did to me a fetish but it was something that both of us enjoyed. At a play party, he stripped me and put me on a pedestal. Then with a black sharpie he wrote all over me. Things that some might consider humiliating, like whore, my slut, bitch, kick me, etc. He wrote on my breasts, stomach, thighs, back, ass and arms. Then he started erasing it through abrasion play. He used various brushes, including the BBQ grill brush, sandpaper block, fish cleaning gloves and a small sword to remove the writing. By the end of the night my body was raw and most all the writing was gone. Whatever was left was quite faint and barely readable. It was so hot. I was flying rather quickly and I would love to do it again. Now he has also written and drawn on me with a knife. I can't stand having any wet or messy on my body. But I love the objectification angle of being made into a sign or canvas. A lot of times it can become a big ego fest for a pretty girl to get poetry or slut or lots of people writing on her through the night, which has its fun energy, but I tend to lean towards a more vulgar aspect. The scene I did with kyra was something that I have reflected and considered on doing for more that a couple of years. I wouldn't call it a fetish to me... it was just another of a long line of things I wanted to try. As it turned out.. it was alot of fun.... now it's a question of putting a different twist to the scene. I am always looking to do things different... I find it rather boring to do things the same way time after time. So... I am looking forward to seeing a few ideas here... maybe something will resonate with me... or project me in a direction that will result in my own unique twist......

I think I do have a taste--not quite a fetish--for writing on skin. It wasn't evident to me until I thought about this thread, because I don't often use markers to do it, and I don't generally plan stuff to write or list it as something I like to do in a negotiation. But when I think about scenes I've done in the last six months, I can think of very few that didn't involve some writing or drawing. I wonder if it's because I like activities that fall into patterns nicely. Like Sarah's playmate, I use an evil stick to write. Bamboo skewers are fun, too--you can flick them like evil sticks or scratch. Kyra's scene struck me as attractive--I've used abrasion to write, but not to erase writing. I've written with a thin cane, but curved marks are really hard to do that way, so I generally prefer using the thinner implements. I tend to put clamps and clothespins on in the form of letters or numbers, as well. If I were more pretentious than I already am, I might call it literary sadism. Monica

From the direction on this of bottoming while dominant, at a convention I attended I ran around in various levels of dress for a few days with a kit of markers on me and had one and all sign and write on me throughout the event. After the first few, word got around and folks were coming up and asking to. It was a lovely bit of play in silliness, control on my part, a bit of surrender to random people's wishes, and random moments of objectification. Fun, fun!

A while back I found a marker set that was specifically made for kids. It was a non-permanent tatoo kit where you could use the markers to color in the tatoos how you would like or make your own free hand tatoos with the markers. Me, I would just write things all over my sub's body before he went home to the Mrs. Hee hee. evil grin LR

my only experience with this kind of thing was a situation where i was used by/serving another Dominant for the day, and one of the first things he did was to write out the "theme" of my purpose for that day on my body. because he (as he told my Master) couldn't find any markers that would show up clearly on dark skin, he used white paint and a finely-tipped brush and wrote "nigger slut" on my tummy, "nigger" on my back, and "for white cock" on my bum with an arrow pointing to and a circle around my two nether holes. i was blindfolded throughout most of the day so i did not know exactly what was written on me, tho based on his personality and prior experiences with him, i knew racial degradation had to be in there. i found the whole process of being written on, and knowing the kind of thing he was writing, very humbling, very degrading, and very erotic (not arousing mind you). i found myself trying hard to "live up" to the words written on my skin, yet at the same time being very ashamed of what i was in his eyes.
